I had a brand new 1972 Yellow maverick with an Orange stripe around hood and bottom,i called it Yellow bird, cause it could fly! I loved it and this song made me so nostalgic, God I wish I was still driving my ole yellow car.

Every time I hear this I think about Robyn Lance, a first gen monte club member that owned a 72 monte carlo, it was yellow, ran 12.9s in the 1/4. Sadly we lost Robyn this year, he was only in his early 50s. He owned the car over 20 years. RIP Robyn.

my first car was not yellow but my favorite car that i loved was a 1989 mustang hatchback that most call a sportster .

she was gray/ash colered.

i named her alexandra after a girl i loved that made me promice to wear my seatbelt.  i always wore my seatbelt after that.

yeah thank you she was a special girl. and i named my car after her because my car was special not just to me she was one of a few hundred mustang hatchbacks that came with the 5.0 engine and powerhouse tran's and positive track rear end..

they weighed 500 pounds lighter then the gt's 5.0 .

and on top of that she had a lucky engine that is an engine that is made exactly the same as the others but for some reason she out performed them by a good amount

@angelwolf333 Yeah. I have a 1989 5.0 LX that is being restored. I have a few videos I have made (terrible quality) lol. I named my 5.0 Veda. My friend Lindsey actually named it and it stuck. I've fallin in love with my 5.0. I'll never sell it and I'll only buy Mustangs and Fords for life. Awesome story.
