this comment is to (teddyboyreble) me and my dad said every word you said it so true hes a teddy boy from the 70's and proud of it and bashing the punks up he said was so good little turds.great comment keep rock'n'
yeh i got out of the ted scene uick, it was a but retarded, and wernt crazy cavan fukwits?
but flying saucers were a healthy band, and even more so fuk me!! ROCHEE AND THE SARNOS, bloody DYNAMITE band...
the thing that got to me about it all, WHAT WAS THE POINT?
meanwhile the punx and hippies were sabotaging nulcear trains and submarines and sab'ing fox hunts and getting campaigns together, what did teds do? beat up black kids
Man I have always loved Teddy style. They are some cool mother fuckers. Must've been a shame to scrap and fuck up those great clothes. Anyway, I think it's pretty funny to see a ted and a punk or rocker fight on the internet. Do I hit the "ctrl' button while holding down f7 & "f" to whip out my flick knife?
Emperor Roscoe, Battersea Dave and others whose names I can't remember. Also a pic of Cavan! Not sure about the Teds jiving together but click on tobiscarce and some other great videos. Keep Rockin' J
Its good to know that us Teds are still about, that includes the TeddyGirls,i know they can scap just as good as us boys can, sometimes they were better, once a Ted always a Ted,and for those who dont like us,TUFF,we are here to stay,Teds Rule, punks crawl, they always have
I remember back in the 70s,punks thought they were real tuff, only problem is,they are not, just a bunch of pussies with nappy pins in their faces, with chains attached,we had fun ripping them out,Teds have been around since the early 50s and they are still around today, punk died out yrs ago,it was a fad thats all,
Proud Ted from the 70`s,and still a proud Ted today
Without getting into sides here, most UK Punk was a knockoff of much better US bands (Ramones, NY Dolls,Stooges, etc.)...the Pistols wouldn't stand a chance next to those bands in their hayday.
Hiya TeddyboyNo1 I too am a TeddyGirl of the '70s & we used to go to a Gig on Sat night, then after down to Wimpy's & Petticoat Lane. The TeddyGirls upfront followed by the Teds,(1 bloke ended up with a broken nose after wolf-whistling at me!)Then closly followed by the 'boys in blue' as we got Free Train-Rides!
i think the trouble between teds and punks is a long time ago and i see you have learned nothing...teds were the first and we`ll be the last `cause rock´n roll will never die!!!
Brilliant Teds will be around forever

(Did the ted revival turn into Rockabilly and Psycobilly).
I dont think it did,Rockabilly was about in the 50`s,it was only a matter of time before us Teds took to it like we did Rock`n`Roll.

They're still out there and the scene is probably bigger than it was in the 1970s, especially in Spain & France.
