kekuatan hati berpegang janji = the strength of the feelings that upholds the promise
genggamlah tanganku cinta = hold my hands, my love
ku tak akan pergi meninggalkanmu sendiri = i won't leave you alone
temani hatimu cinta = always be there by your side, my love
and i'm sorry, this is kinda a rough translation. it'll be much more meaningful in indonesian/malay. it was originally written in a figurative form. but i translated it in a very casual form. hope this helps :)
it's kinda hard to translate.. Letto's song are a bit too poetic that even most indonesian wouldnt actually understand. at first, it would sound that this song is about love and stuff. but when you really listen it's mostly about devotion to god and stuff. but of course that would depend on the person listening interpretation.
just read the reminder of the comments below, it's kinda surprising that a lot of people actually share my interpretation of this song religious meaning. i guess we're all fans of letto. (if i was not mistaken, the vocalist and main lyricist is the son of one of indonesian most prominent preacher isnt it?). i just think it's a great medium of preaching, through songs.

kekuatan hati berpegang janji = the strength of the feelings that upholds the promise
genggamlah tanganku cinta = hold my hands, my love
ku tak akan pergi meninggalkanmu sendiri = i won't leave you alone
temani hatimu cinta = always be there by your side, my love
and i'm sorry, this is kinda a rough translation. it'll be much more meaningful in indonesian/malay. it was originally written in a figurative form. but i translated it in a very casual form. hope this helps :)

it's kinda hard to translate.. Letto's song are a bit too poetic that even most indonesian wouldnt actually understand. at first, it would sound that this song is about love and stuff. but when you really listen it's mostly about devotion to god and stuff. but of course that would depend on the person listening interpretation.

just read the reminder of the comments below, it's kinda surprising that a lot of people actually share my interpretation of this song religious meaning. i guess we're all fans of letto. (if i was not mistaken, the vocalist and main lyricist is the son of one of indonesian most prominent preacher isnt it?). i just think it's a great medium of preaching, through songs.
