Can a guy 5'3" tall, 440 pounds, do push ups? I not only did it, but did 20. It kicked my butt for a moment, but well worth the feeling of accomplishment. It's playing on my channel so go see for yourself. Thanks for looking.
Check out Gary Stewarts wonderful version of this song recorded live @ Opryland in 1988, right after he released his comeback album, 'Brand New". Garys is much more aggretion and attitude in Garys version, as he seems to be doing the song from a different point of view. It's well worth the watch
Great song, Nice version..Heard it by James Cotton but my favorite version was done by Ace Moreland as he always played it using the mike stand for slide..It was on his I'm a Jealous Man disc Wild Dog Records..Ace was a good friend with Steve Gaines..both Okies and triple threats...Rest their souls
This video was made around 1988 and in over 20 years I have never heard anybody say they don't like it. Now, maybe a lot of people didn't like it, but I never heard it...Most people get a chuckle out of it, and beleive it or not really like Poo Bah's voice. As for the Hank, Jr. impersonation, the crappiest I ever heard was Hank himself - and we love Hank!!! (mostly duets with Jack D.) We appreciate you giveing it a look and being moved enough to leave a comment! Thanks! Nashville StarVision
seems like i grew up knowing this song, my father was good friends with the 2 guys that wrote this awesome song, and my father played it on stage in Seattle WA. i am glad its finally getting some national attention.

IM 21 YEARS OLD AND I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS GUY , OR THIS SONG, HOWEVER I FIND THIS SUPRISING, BECAUSE IM JUST YOUR AVERAGE MINDED PERSON AND I LOVE THIS SONG, wait..... does that mean i just murdered it?
Poo Bah has been around for years and been involved with many stars including Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson. He mostly plays now in Tennessee, but possibly may do some shows in Branson. In it's day, this video was a hit with all the stars on their buses. His "Chattanooga Bound" album is great and available on itunes. Yes, you may have murdered it, but Poo Bah would say, "you kilt it!" Thanks for the comment!!!
So cool, sure does bring back the Memories of that night. what fun! Thanks Poo Bah. This should be on Gac & more, it really is good and you were singing great!! still do......

Love probably did it, but cleaned up all the evidence. No sign that love was ever here!
