I really wish sony kept PS2 support on the PS3. now they removed it completely, I think. I was going to eventually get a PS3 for GTA IV and still play my old PS2 games but sony had to screw around with the design and phase out PS2 and PS1 support. the original PS3 was the smartest thing sony ever did. why did they screw it up. now i'm not buying as PS3 and i'd advise anyone else to do the same if they like the PS2 games. unless you want to play PS3 games.

@88who I just have a PS2. havent gotten a PS3 but if I do i'll get the older one that can play PS2 games as a backup but I just want my cheat device discs to work on the Ps3 but they probably wont.

well the only diffencre when u use the ps3 2 play ps2 games is

1:you have virutally no chance of framerate to drop

2:loading and saving times are faster

3:the games overall we be a little bit draker
