  • Rotating the cylinder after that first misfire was not a smart move. All misfires should be held down range for at least a minute. That charge could have slow burned and gone off a moment later while not aligned with the barrel. And that is very dangerous. It usually damages the hand, and wherever the rest of the splintered ball goes can be lethal. Don't do that newbies.

  • do you have a lage cowboy style weapons collection? Also nice gun and all but why black powder? or do you like blackpowder weapons better?

  • @TheAlexagius

Blackpowder is legal in the UK. Cartridge pistols arn't, with some small exceptions.

  • @Blaesht i thought they were legal in northen ireland isn't that part of the uk?

  • @TheAlexagius

Yes my mistake. The laws in Northern Ireland are slightly different. In Northern Ireland you can actually have pistols and owning a weapon purely for personal protection is a legitimate reason.

  • @TheAlexagius It's not that we love more blackpowder guns than others. It's just that we don't live in the USA and are able to buy everything we want.

  • I got the same but without adjuntable sights, very nice big toy. Do you think it is more powerful than a "modern" 38 special? Somebody says it is comparable to a 44 special and I agree because the big impacts and wide holes it produces overpass the effectiveness of a 38

  • @newhuskytwenty man i just posted a comment on the 1858 black powder revolver.... i just bought a conversion cylinder that will let me shoot 45 long colt ....thay have another conversion cylinder that will let you shoot 45 acp ..... i found it at buffelo arms .com for 250 bucks if your intrested....

  • @460faust (meant adjustable) thanks for your reply, but firing a cartridge makes it a different gun, with different license in Spain. In France black powder guns don't require any license, "autorisation du prefecte policiel" as they say

  • @newhuskytwenty When comparing energy, it had the power of the .45 LC or so (and with standard BP).

  • Dear Santa...

  • no 32 grains of pyodex powder i use... it will take 35 grains at a push.

  • 15 grain is for .36 caliber like my colt navy. It must be 18-24 grains...

  • About 32 grains of pyodex powder.

  • how much of black powder?

  • @suchy2005 It looks like 15 grains.

  • its a pietta 1858 remington new army target model

  • Schofield ??

  • Schofield ??

    whats that?

  • @captainmark1

    That's probably remington's gun.

    What is This gun's name??

    It's cool !!

  • @captainmark1 A Schofield is a Smith & Wesson Single Action model 3 Revolver

  • @majipaneesu looks like a pietta 1858 remington new army target model

  • @majipaneesu That's definitely not a schofield lol

  • thats the last sound i want the motherfucker breaking into my house to hear

  • Russian Roulette!

  • @gatesofpearl yes this is right....many people cock it lik that

  • 25 grains of powder

  • After the missfire... You should have waited a minute to make sure the cap wasnt sitting there fizzling! Not smart. And is it a .45 cal or .44 cal ??? Looks like a 1858 new army .44 to me.

  • @dumbtrucker3 The percussion cap hadn't exploded so there was no risk of hang fire.

You got right for the gun, it's a pietta remington 1858 new army stainless target of .44 caliber. But in reality, it's rather .45.

  • oooww disapooontment laddy.

  • Big dinossaur, but nice gun.

  • It could be fanned just like the Blondy did. You won't hit anything but you could.

  • That does sound cool. :P

  • that sound is from the recording camera.

It's like a big low treble loud bang.

Each cylinder holds 25 grains of blackpowder. BP revolvers are fun to shoot.

    I have 2 replicas 1 ulberti blue 44 mag & one stainless.

  • Intresting sound when it fires.

  • Hay there cowboy dont be pointing that gun at me. . . Ya hear . . .

  • Thats a nice revolver there.

Looks like fun to shoot there also.

  • Now i know which manufacturer it is, I asked for it some time ago but no answers. This front sight design is only Pietta's design, not uberti.

  • If it had sandalwood grips, it would be exactly how I picture Roland's guns from The Dark Tower series.

  • big big sound

  • Nice

  • I wanted either a .44 or .45 but cant make up my mind if i want black powder or your normal shells what do you guys think?

  • THE BIGGEST ONE LOL

  • sounds like a cougar cuz of the echo

  • Why do I see the primer flash BEFORE the hammer falls. This is strange. Can someone enlighten me?

  • The camera can't catch up to the speed of the hammer falling.

  • damn

  • Ohh disappointment. Bastards still up. HA

  • Is it a pietta or uberti?

  • how much powder you using?

  • 24 grains

  • looks kinda powerful for 24 grains. does 24 give you best performance?

  • it depends on the distance you are shooting, you can increase or decrease the amount of powder, for example if you were shooting something 25yrds away and know that 20grains of powder will give you accuracy and power then loading 25 or 30 grains of powder is a waste, whereas if you were shooting something at 50yrs and weren't getting the accuracy with 20grains you can increase the powder to maintain accuracy and power. it's all relative to the distance you are firing

  • nice sound xD
