  • i think he is XOR... In memory of good teacher.

  • You have a serious monopoly of not distributing your products to digikey, so i'm unable to buy the products. If i buy 90% of parts from digikey, and then buy just one part from circuit-ed, that's absolutely infeasible and costly. But nice products BTW. i love it. But as far as buying is concerned, you guys are really mean with your products.

  • do you have any tutorials at all on how to do this? or does anyone know of any good tutorials on the internet?

  • Where I can get this display?, it´s amazing, it`s managed with PIC 18f452 only?

  • its a development board called EasyPic.

  • Nice. I'm also doing a project with a pic18 like you used.

  • can you give me some tips?

my project is like touchscreen but you can save or load images file (.bmp) to touchscreen from MMC card

  • I doubt you'll beable to save to BMP but a raw image format

  • this is a very good proyec!!

  • Cooolll!! What a develope board you use?? source codes can i see? Why so big delay betwen drawing on LCD ant touching???

  • the processing time to redraw that part and calculate what the hell is he doing with the pencil... after the calculations... the image appears... that is something that happens in all kinds of devices that have this kind of touching screen... I believe it would get a small delay also in a g1 phone or Iphone...not that big... but not so instant like to see the icons moving or to make a zoom on pictures

  • Good stuff. Ive got the EasyPic5. Can you suggest to me a good place to learn how to write to a 64x128 GLCD? Like what pins to control, how to control them, etc? I tried every where and cant any good information...nothing, there stuff out there for charecter LCD but not much on GLCD....the datasheets dont help that much either. Really stuck...appreciate any suggestions to where I can find more info. Many thanks.

  • DS tutoch und dann übern lpt port - bestimmt ;)

  • HÄÄÄ....hab nichts verstanden was er damit meint....!!!!!!!!

  • exellent

  • Hi circuited, excellent job on this screen! me I ask what brand of GLCD touchscreen are you using, and price? I have been looking for one but I like this one better than the ones I have seen... cheers, EZ

  • Look on my website. Lots of goodies there including this touchscreen GLCD. You can see the address link in the "About This Video" box above right.

    "circuit-ed dot com"

  • wow thank you forthe vid. i use easypic 4 so nice to see things working on kit i have. must get one is it easy to programm i am using mikroc & mikrobasic.

  • The program above was written in mikroBasic and is available in the mikroBasic section on mikroE's forums.

Check the website in "About This Video". We have this LCD and the EZ-FPC connector which makes for easy connection of the touchscreen to any development board.

  • As always a great demo xor

  • Xor cant wait to see the RGB version :)

  • do you know of a larger one?

  • hello from WHO

because my last name is NYE?

  • NYC... New York City

  • oh lol

  • Wow how much did the LCD costed ya? And is that an Easy Pic Demo board?

  • Cheap... less than Ebay! Yes, it's an EasyPIC board. Both are available at the link above in "About This Video".

  • Wow, thank you man for the demo! It's really cool, especially with the fact that it's made with a PIC microcontroller (I'm a big fan of these). I shall check this thing out!

  • Scared me! I thought you were drawing a picture of me! But then you left out the beard! Whew.....

    Great demo, XOR!

  • Thanks moonwiz... it was fun to make.
