  • nice, thank you for teaching me how to flock, now I can start having fun with it.

  • Thanks! The stamp is from Posh through I Brake for Stamps. Maybe they still have it, but they retired al Posh images about a week ago. The stamp cleaner I use is the Solvent ink cleaner from Judikins. Thanks for watching. JIL

  • Love the rooster card, was wondering where you got the stamp, and where i can get the stamp cleaner that you showed. TFS Cindy

  • Thanks for your response. Really enjoyed the video--loved your explanations. Like the look of the fuzzy flocking.

  • Jil, can you please do a U-Tube with the rooster and doing seperate colors together? Thank you

    Trudy

  • Jil, awsome video, can you show us the rooster with all the different colors and how you did it please???

    Thank you,

    Trudy

  • I love the rooster card. Joan

  • I played with flocking to day and had no luck at all. I tried the Stampin' up heat n stick powder(which I don't know why I tried this as I have NEVER had good luck with it) and the Pallette glue pad. Thanks for showing this video, I will have to get a martha pad. Thanks for the video.

  • @kkaisu I haven't seen one good thing about the pallette glue pad, that's why I avoided it. I don't really use the sticky powder with flock, you have to heat it just right to get it sticky & it dries up if you heat it too longor if you don't use it right away. Let me know if the martha pad works for you. I really liked the results. JIL

  • Great tutorial... TFS

  • I have some flocking that I haven't used yet. I think I'm going to get more colors now and bust them all out :o)

  • @smscrapper You do need to try it. i love how it looks & feels. Super cool stuff. JIL

  • Thanks for sharing this info. I have been wanting to try this technique out, but was hesitant because I didn't want to waste the money if it didn't work. This will be great for Christmas cards. Have fun creating!

  • @luvs2stampnscrap Flocking is really easy & is great for Christmas cards. They still have the dollar packs at Michael's. JIL

  • @stampyra I was cleaning my scrap station last night and found some of these from Micheal's. I will try them out for sure. I am thinking I will have some rockin' Christmas cards. Muhahahahaaa! Stay creative!

  • Great video. I have not used flocking before and this was a super introduction to it. Thanks for doing the video.

  • @snowcrystal05 You're welcome! Thanks for watching. Be sure to try flocking, it's fun. JIL

  • Great tutorial. TFS.

  • OMG... you read my mind! I bought some flocking over a year ago and have been too chicken to try it... Not anymore! Thanks for the great vid!!!!

  • @iowa2308 I'm glad you're gonna try it. I hope you show us the results. JIL

  • Have you tried the Judi Kins sticky stuff embossing powder? I found mine at Joann's dot com. I think you will find that you will get much clearer images and you don't have to clean your stamps right away cause your using versamark ink or other embossing ink. TFS!! Can't wait to see how you made those flowers.

    Michelle

  • @lazycatz37 Thanks for that pointer. I do have some of that. I found that the flock goes on a bit too thick. I get great results with the Martha Stewart glue pad, but the camera really didn't show that off. The flowers will come later in the week. JIL

  • Thanks so much for sharing this :) hugs

  • Thank you so much for this video!
