This is such a great song. I never could figure out why it didn't become a bigger hit for QR. It's heavier and a better song than the Slade covers the band was pushed into doing on the first 2 QR albums. Every time I hear it it puzzles me as to how it didn't become huge. I know it had moderate success but it deserved so much more.

@tommyt1971 Maybe they were thinking that "synth-pop" music was big at the time. They were probably hoping to "cross-over" and appeal to a larger fan base. A lot of Rock bands used synths back then. Look at Van Halen's "Jump". Axel F (Beverly Hills Cop), The Final Countdown, Jump , etc, all have instantly recognizable synth melodies. But yea, it's probably not needed for this song.

It's all done in Hollywood, and they often recycle/reuse, sets, props, vehicles, etc. I have seen Solarbabies only once, and that was many years ago. I totally forget what ANY of the vehicles looked like. I did download it though. Maybe I will fast-forward thought it and look for the vehicles. Now I am just curious as to what they look like/if they're the same.

I love this video of Quiet Riot. Yeah the bands in the 80's were all "haired" up but that was the thing then. Those 80's songs have and will stand the test of time.
