He did leave religious life, after completing his 6 years of temporal vows and decided, along with the congregation, it was best to focus on his music to a degree that the vows weren't made for. That''s what you can read on the official website. In the end, it's the same, he's getting ready for more singing in 2011 but this is a bit a more complete story than the one you've been shouting... :p

vieleicht war es ganz gut,für ihn ins kloster zu gehen.viele nehmen drogen,wenn sie nicht weiter wissen,oder bekommen sexsucht.da finde ich den spirituellen weg besser.und einglück haben die mönche ihn wieder überzeugt aus dem kloster rauszugehen und ein spirituelles leben im altag zu führen.das kann man nämlich auch.es ist leicht ein spirituelles leben im kloster zuführen.es ist aber schwer ein spirituelles leben im altag zuführen.da beweist sich die ware große spirituelle seele.

That is extremely egoïstic, Xcarmox. Paddy can not follow the call of his heart? I have been on a Catholic boarding school and I can assure the isolated life in an old building surrounded by pleasant green meadowlands and woods and the athmosphere inside really feels like a balsam for the soul.

Paddy has been hunted, was like a deer in the headlights, from the very moment he was born. Maybe is is so immensely happy that he finally has peace and tranquil around him?

If you looked really good in his eyes the last years on stage you could see that has no energie anymore. He made a very vey hard and difficult step but a very good one for him!! es ist nicht verwunderlich, dass nach all der hektik des öffentlichen lebens, das persönlichen rückzug zum teil unmöglich machte, das bedürfnis nach innerer einkehr umso größer ist. es ist schwer, als stets umjubelter, doch tief drin ungekannter (einsamer?) mensch einen SINN im diffusen "draußen" zu suchen, da es keinen festen, bedingungslosen haltepunkt, sondern eine von äußeren fassaden abhängige, vergängliche bewunderung darstellt. I dont agree with you in that point..i think its the absolultly right way for him...Didnt you listen to his words? He mostly killed himself..I am pretty sure its the right way for him..cause i think he wouldnt be happy if he would come back to a "normal life"..Sure i miss him..but i only wanna see him happy..look at the pics from the 4 and 5th august..he IS happy there and now!

I am glad he survived the hard times and didn't end up on drugs or alcohol... but anyway I don't believe this is the right way. Maybe for now as a process of healing his soul and putting himself together but for the future...I know he longs for a normal family life and I hope he'll be strong enough to get back to the real world. I want Paddy Kelly back (I mean as a person not necessarily on the stage).
