It sounds pretty and well-composed, but I just don't think it fits for what Versus XIII seems to be trying to do.....just my opinion.

Versus XIII is said to be the darkest Final Fantasy yet, and the whole intention is to show what a Final Fantasy game *could* be like.

@waterkeeper511 yeah i kinda agree. this track is beautiful! buut I just think it needs to sound more...somber? gloomy? (not sure if those words describe what I mean lol) because the plot of the game is supposed to be a tragic tale of some sort.

Wow its sound amazing for fanmade but I would suggest that it should have a darker tone since it was design to be the darkest Final Fantasy lol, I ve seen your other fanmade soundtracks of FFvsXIII and they were great too but again alittle bit darker.

sounds fantastic, at around 1:10 is feels like if you waited at the menu of versus xiii for too long it would go into a video sequence of the game.. fantastic work

Ahh this is delightful refreshing bring back to the classics, reminding us of past FF's while also giving it a very nice rich new start up. I espetially like this part 1:49 - 2:30 it almost made me tear up. I would hope that you continue to keep putting out new creative FM soundtracks. Keep up this fantastic work :')

You know a composition is good when it sounds like it lasts longer then it is, I thought this was like 7 mins, looked at the time it was nearly 3 mins, either that I really just got lost into your music.

I've just found your VXIII stuff and can I say it's amazing!! I liked the second half of this after the normal prelude, it was a bit Kingdom Heartsy and a bit FF8-y (FF8 being my all time fav!) looooved it keep up the great work :)

Just today it was playing in my car just as a massive thunderstorm let up, and sky was light and dark all at once. For some reason, the second half made me think of a possible voluntary Noctis sacrifice, filled with flashbacks, and he stares down the enemy indignantly as he seals himself away or something..

I was SOO upset when they didn't use this music in FF13...all the ppl who love FF13 AND are new to the series (must meet both criteria haha) have been and will continue to bash me for my anger of it..but a Final Fantasy just isnt a Final Fantasy without the official prelude music!

@baschfire Thanks ! <3 Well... I wonder how Hamauzu would have had arranged it for FFXIII, it'd have been great ! FFX has its own arrangement of the classic prelude, at the very beginning of the game. Only it sounds a bit... crazy. xD

OUIIII le retour de la mélodie originale, je t'aime Kayin <3 (quoique le prélude de FFXIII était magnifique aussi). Une pincée d'angoissant avec l'apparition de Noctis puis et puis grandiose tout du long.

Je remarque que tu t'améliores. Quand on écoute tes musiques du début et celle là, y a pas photo. Si les instruments que tu utilisais sonnaient plus "pro" et moins vst on s'y méprendrait (mais c'est pas ta faute ça)^^.
