I refused to vote for the Republican or Democrat Senator candidates, they were absolutely AWFUL candidates in West Virginia.
I voted for the Constitution Party, as much as my vote counts.

I will find it interesting to watch how far down America will continue to decline before people wake up to understanding that giving away their sovereignty to an unknown leadership wearing any party hat that wants to rob them.

Republicans seem to be disillusioned, however, by thinking that they can get socialized healthcare without raising taxes to pay for it. The tea party may have more than its fair share of nutcases but I still think it has a a million times more integrity than the two identical parties dedicated to selling the country down the river (which is another way of stating that the tea party has SOME integrity).

Mr. President all the mandates that benefit the people in this bill could have been done without spending one dime. What people are angry about is a trillion dollar spending bill we can't afford that does absolutely nothing to lower healthcare cost and premiums for all. This plan will raise premiums on 85% of the people. Put 15 million on medicaid the worst healthcare available. And another 16 million will be subsidized by insurance companies who get Government money, while cost keep rising.

Ron Paul is different from the rest of the republicans. You could do some quick research to find this fact out. He voted against the war in Iraq and only voted to go after al queda and tried to pass a bill to make it so it was just al queda and then we come home. He has never voted to pass an unbalanced budget and has the best voting record in all of U.S. politics.

But after learning, over the years since then, about his views on many libertarian views, I have to say I can't see them working well in todays world. Maybe in 1776 but not today. Premiums go up because healthcare cost go up. No one and nothing in this bill is dealing with the high and rising cost of healthcare. Ask yourself how do your lower premiums? You have to lower healthcare cost. Our high priced care is because of mandates that benefit the industry. Over use by patients because of 3d party payers, over use by Doctors and Hospitals to cover liability issues, waste fraud and abuse on the Gov. side, lack of real competition and more issues that are not being dealt w/

Government run healthcare systems around the world are all dealing with rising cost they can't sustain, some are rationing care even more some are introducing free market incentives. No system is working that that involves government. We may have a private market but private is not free when government call all the shots. Before our government involvement in 1965 healthcare cost were very reasonable.

Even by giving them everything they wanted the conservatives still feel like the country is about to turn into Nazi Germany and they are all suddenly Jews. I would say Obama got about 55 % of the total vote.. HARDLY A LANDSLIDE.. Where obama won big was in the electoral part of the election because he won many larger metropolitan areas that carry alot of electoral votes(and tend to be democratic anyway).
