why did you buy this? Why spen $200 on an editing software you don't even have a proper camera but a a small cam inside your computer. You can't movies with that ,I am the father of Robsick and I edit movies and am I visual effects manager. If you want to edit use Imovie not this.

What are you using it for? If you simply want to play with effects then it might be too hard. There aren't too much effects; mostly filters, chroma keys, transitions.

Nice use this program in college. Its great video editing software. I loooove it. Nice vid btw. You are going to be able to make some amazing stuff using that.

Where did you buy it the store or the online store. On the online store when you click on the product it should have a link to get a student discount. Its $30 for me. But for a junoir high school student i dont know.

lol, I messed up when opening my iLife '08 box, these new box designs are weird. >> And for vid idea's, try doing something LiveType tutorials, the programs' pretty easy to understand if you play around with it for a while, making a vid on that will be like second nature in a couple of hours.
