To OkiPanoki - LED's are pretty much cheap. It can be re-used when the battery in the throwie is used up too.

To windoes98se - I guess using resistors and soldering them into the LED would do. It'll last longer (though this is time consuming to do, this makes the LED a bit dimmer if the resistance value is high)
