  • The scene also ties in with Mac's reluctance to say goodbye to Stella when he leaves - he's obviously embarrassed by what he told Gordon.

  • I think Gordon was humoring a man even more inebriated than himself.

  • My best ever movie

  • A magical scene. Brilliant film. Respect Paid for Post

  • Thank you, qarnos, so much for posting all these scenes of my favourite movie ever.

  • Loved it, again and again.

I think at that moment, Gordon and Mac really meant it.

Gordon would have left Stella there with Mac.

  • @adirondaker If Gordon loved Stella he wouldn't have traded anything for her and would have cracked that Yank fella HARD in the coupon for his blasphemy .....

I think he's a dick for not knocking the guy out for offering to buy his Girl..

  • @gordonw01 Maybe it was the booze.

  • Classic movie! Since you seem to have the code figured out on uploading clips from Local Hero could you isolate the party scene in which Mac asks Roddy for the 42 year old scotch and after Roddy says he hasn't got any, Mac replies "then give me four eight year olds and a ten year old!"

    cheers
