Dragon types are the best type yet. The only reason Lance has three fucking DRAGONITES is because this is based in Johto/Kanto, you only unlock Hoenn/Sinnoh types when you beat him the first. There was only one DRAGON TYPE in Kanto which was Dragonite. Kanto then realeased Kingdra . Charizard is a dragon, but is a fire/flying type for it would be too fucking cheap to get a lv.36 Dragon type for a starter. Gyardos is based off a Chinese dragon if no one has noticed. Aerodact is an extinct dragon.

@conairefacon The second time you fight him, he is not fucking around this time. He has a Salamance, Altaria, and an Garchomp this time. What is so sad though to me, is that they didn't decide to choose Flygon to replace Altaria for he already has two Dragon/Flying types on him. (Salamence, ugh, Dragonite, woot). So he is not clearly the FLYING master, even though it seems like it.

Reds easier to beat in my opinion. His hardest pokemon to defeat is Snorlax, though, but his pokemon generally go down in 1 - 2 hits, and when its his turn, he either uses moves that could miss (like Thunder), or rather useless ones (Charm, Rain Dance, Sunny Day, Amnesia, ect.)

if you guys read the manga, it says in the G/S/C chapters that pokemon sometimes evolve under special conditions, like to rescue their trainers.

take red's poliwrath for example. it evolved without a waterstone, but it needed to save red.
