I wonder why everybody sing the second section so loudly? A hushed, repressed, threat would work well. Allegro for Handel is not as fast as modern-day allegri!
Ask yourself how fast the Cellos can sound their 1/16ths!
Roll your 'R's please and avoid the horrible top B on the last "spec"-tro.
high note at like 2:15 was too edgy (and a few other high notes) i think but otherwise amazing job...just watch the big intervals so you don't punch the note too hard, ksenia......i'm working on this for the same song :)

I'm doing a duet with Marianna called "Reveil" (Chausson) and my solo is Rachmaninoff's "Vocalise"....I'm a little nervous but totally excited (esp. for the duet!) see ya tomorrow

the super fast B section (it's gotten faster as I've continued to sing this aria) was at the suggestion of my voice teacher and my coach

So ask your teacher and coach how fast cellos can play their 1/16ths so that the notes still sound :))
I understand the temptation to treat the section as a vengeance aria, but it's only imagined and the vengeance will be carried out by a spectre!

Lovely job, I did this piece at NATS last year, its a tricky one. Chuck is such a gem, I miss him dearly, best of luck at your time at SCC
