Wenn man im Stau steht auf jeden Fall. Wenn man aber ca. 100km/h fährt ist es halb so wild, da der Fahrtwind über dem Cockpit eine "Lufthaube" entstehen lässt, die dafür sorgt, dass das Wasser einen nur in Höhe des Helmes trifft, man aber ansonsten fast komplett trocken bleibt. Kling komisch, is aber so... :)

I know this site, but this message is not correct. I know it from a guy at the KTM factory, he told me the X-Bow is not sold in the US because AUDI didn't want that. Don't ask me why, but AUDI deliveres the engine and they said to KTM: you can use it, but only if you don't sell the car in the US.

Sehr schöner Wagen und das auch noch in meinen Haimartort (Düren) habe dich leider noch nie hier rum Fahren gesehen vlt sieht man sich ja :).

@xbowracing I thought that happened in every country in the world. I live in Australia and they do it ALL the time. Random breath tests etc etc. Some of the time if you are caught going 20kph over the speed limit or even more, your licence is cancelled and the police crush your car. Mostly for younger drivers though.

@kopskup hey, i presume youre from the US (if not, sry!). So, in Germany Police is not that much an authority like over there. So they are usually kind and act like normal people. This is why we normally have no problem with being controlled. Its a necessary thing. We dont see them as something anoying. Ofc its not normal, that they just ask dumb questions. Usually they ask normal questions in a polite way. its more like a.. unwanted, forced and hated friendship you know! USA => Police => Boss

Na klar ist alles legal, auch wenn die Bullizei und die Tüffis das nicht immer sofort glauben. War letzt Woche bei den Kollegen vom Technischen Überwachungs-Verein und die haben mich beim ersten mal glatt durchrasseln lassen. Unberechtigt, wie sie beim zweiten Mal kleinlaut zugeben mussten. das beste: ich hab auch das auf Video! LOL... Stay tuned... :)

die waren cool, aber dass problem kenn ich wenn man mit einem Renngerät mit straßenzulassung fährt wird man ständig angehalten, werde mit meinem Rennquad auch ständig belästigt - glaub so der Rekord liegt bei 7 mal in einem Monat - aber oft wollen sie eh nur schauen :-)

Dass man damit nicht immer 100% legal unterwegs ist versteht sich von selbst. Aber das eine Prozent drüber juckt die meisten auch nicht.

Lieber mit dem X-Bow (Nochmals zur Sprachschule weil das immer falsch ausgesprochen wird: "Krossbouw" nennt sich das. Nix mit "x" am Anfang *gg*) 110 als mit dem A-Corsa 100 ;-)

Mein X-Bow hat keine "normalen" Bremsbeläge drauf, sondern Rennbremsbeläge mit höherem Reibwert. Die arbeiten auch bei hohen Temperaturen noch zuverlässig und brauchen eine gewisse Betriebstemperatur, sonst quitschen sie. Diese Temperatur erreicht man im normalen Straßenverkehr aber nie. Durch das Bearbeiten der Bremsbelag-Kanten kann man das Quitschen auch weitgehend beseitigen, aber ich finde der X-Bow ist ein Rennwagen, also darf er sich auch wie einer anhören... ;-)

Ist doch sogar positiv, weil es dann wieder eine neue Folge "X-Bow vs. Police" gibt. Und wenn es so lustig wie dieses mal zugeht, mach ich mir ja auch ne Menge Arbeit, daraus son Video zu basteln.
