I love this Jerry Reed tribute...he's one of my personal favorite guitarists! Many people would probably disagree, but I actually like him more than Chet Atkins.

ziveiri: If you're looking for some of Jerry Reed's own tunes, "Jerry's Breakdown" is a great one which, at least in the live video here on YouTube, features Chet Atkins. Also, "Lightnin' Rod" and "The Claw" are great instrumentals of his!

Have you ever heard rock guitarist Eric Johnson's song "Tribute to Jerry Reed," in the style of Jerry Reed? That's a great tribute as well!

I was completely surprised when I first that song of his...I mean, I knew he could play rock very well, but I never would've guessed he could play like Jerry Reed too! I think Johnson also did a great tribute to Wes Montgomery...I think it was Johnson anyway.

Great song! I love Jerry Reed's playing as well. I was actually quite surprised to see Brad Paisley perform a portion of "The Claw" at the CMA Award's this past Wednesday in tribute to Jerry Reed...wasn't long enough, but I'm just glad they did anything in tribute to Reed.
