@Diver0101 if you never got it, just go into object mode (wireframe), select the outer and then hold shit and right click the inner circle. after that just hit ctrl+j and voila, magic.
Hi great tutorial, it's at the perfect pace and I actually learn better by doing what you leave out. Just one question: How do you get it to not fill in between the two circle curves?Mine doesn't do it automatically. I tried deleting them and doing them over but it doesn't work. Thanks
@JydeProductions Your very welcome. Another option for extruding text would be to convert it to a mesh by pressing ALT C and selecting CONVERT TO MESH from the pop up. Then pressing E to extrude will work. Keep in mind, however, that doing this will take away your ability to change your text.
@firechildc I'm having trouble with the actual logo. I'm not sure how to cut a hole inside to put another in. It doesn't automatically cut away if i add another as you stated in this vid. Idk if it's my version or what. (I'm running Blender 2.57)
@JydeProductions Extruding text is done a little differently. Press TAB to go back into object mode. Then click on your Font Panel (the tab with the F symbol) In this menu you will see a slider labeled EXTRUDE under "geometry" Use that slider to extrude your text. Hope that helps!
Yeah i tried the circle curve technique and when i put it in solid mode the outer circle is still covering the inner circle did you have to click on something? or what?
@firechildc Can you explain how you do the circle curve??? I tried but I can't fix it.
and one more thing ...can you tell me how to edit letters or logo after I saved file? I do not now how to work on letters/logo, while I open saved file again.
Hello mate. Nice tuts! Just a heads-up. I don't know if you know of Andrew Price of blenderguru but he's offering $100 for tutorial vids right now and I'm pretty sure yours are of the quality he'd like. Dunno if you want the cash or are even interested but I'm sure that most of Andrew's viewers would like and find useful your stuff. Might be worth checking out. :)
You really should take the extra time to make your basic model clean, even if it is just for the purpose of explaining stuff. It will make the viewers a lot more confident in what you're saying. You should also take a little time to plan out exactly what you are doing, maybe even write a script.
The good news is, you seem to know what you're doing, you don't talk too fast or too slow, you're not mumbling, the presentation is great! =)
@eviloatmeal I agree with you completely. I should have had a better model. I wanted to wait till tomorrow to record this video, but I promised my loyal viewers a video today and, despite being in the middle of rebuilding my kitchen after a water pipe burst, I set as much time as I could aside to record a video. It wasn't perfect, but I do believe it gets the message across.
Thanks for your constructive criticism. I respect it and appreciate it completely.
I was just finding out that ctrl + z undoes your action, but ctrl + y does not redo. ctrl + shift + z, redoes the action.

@Diver0101 Right click on the outer logo in object mode, switch to edit mode with that still highlighted and add the circles in while in edit mode.
