For those of you asking, no, this on its own doesn't allow you to play imported/copied games. You also need to buy SwapMagic or it will not work. However, even if you do have SwapMagic DO NOT USE A SLIDE CARD! The chances of it destroying your disc drive are way too high. Invest in a flip top instead. You'll still need a copy of SwapMagic to make it work, but the odds of it doing any damage is absolutely zero.

My problem is sliding the card back to the left after i've opened the tray, i can't seem to pull the tab back to the left

the pin is in there, its just really deep. i was having trouble with it because i thought the pin was the white cog under the tray on the left, but the pin is on the right under the tray and its deep in, youll have to use close to all your 3 inches of the slide card. make sure your card's notch is on the right and stick the card under the tray somewhere around the middle and pull right- if there's some resistance and you hear it being pulled, you'll be able to pull the tray out.

I'm going to refer to the 2 discs in this question as Disc A, and Disc B.

Disc A is the original copy

Disc B is the backed up (burned) copy.

If you start your Ps2 with Disc A in, and the game starts, can you swap with Disc B at any time if it's an exact copy?

(I know not to do this during loading screens)

you cant do this on slims. the thing you do is let the cover open. put a real disc restart the system and then wait for 4 secs. after the 2nd click and remove the disc and put the backup disc

I tried putting in an original game, and then doing the slide card trick, when i heard the 2 clicks, and then popping in the burned game, but i see a quick flash on my screen, and then the screen stays black.

Its better to get the Swap Magic CD/DVD.

Here is why: You are pulling the game disc at a high rate of speed and thats not good, its better to make it stop first with the Swap Magic then use the card to open the tray.

ok easy get ur gh 2,3,4 or watevr u have and put it into ur pc ok now go to my computer look for DVD/CD-R disk file now click it copy all the gh files and now make another folder and paster all the files on there and then look to the left of the folder there should be copy all items to cd do that make sure its a cd-r now thats all LOL
