You have no technique and your cymbals are tightened too much on their stands which is why they break. You play like a retarded gorilla. take some lessons....
you seem to have a worryingly large amount of broken cymbals, I stopped breaking them regularly after about a year of drumming and "touch wood" I haven't broken one for a good 3 or 4 years and I play them hard
also if you are over tightening your cymbals like another comment I saw, that is the worst thing you can do to them next to hitting them with sledge hammers, they have to move quite a bit to dissipate the energy of your hits
I'm worried one of mine will crack soon though because I play them a lot at gigs and practice and some are 5 years old now. I dont have the money to replace any AAX lol
This goes to everyone going to buy some nex cymbals, and watching this video.
You can't watch Videos and expect to kno what kind of cymbals you want.
i can tell you: the easiest solution is to go to the next drum shop, and test the cymbals.
All these videos might be very nice, but when you compare the sound from the video with the real life sound, you will see that these videos are unnecessary.
@Vermillion25 No Problem, I mean just that I think its hard to play it dynamic and loud at once. I Think its ok, but you really should test it and play it in a store, cause its always a matter of your likes and dont likes, so check it out :D
@Boosh0091 I am Happy, but the Crashes are very stiff, if you know what I mean, so my Meinl Classic Crashes are both cracked. Just go and test them :D
hammer on that splash!!

meinl cymbals can take a serious beating if your cracking these things, there is something wrong with your technique.

INSANE BRUTALITY AND NO TECHNIQUE ;)
But I watch out now
And this is not, how i set up my cymbals normally, its just for the video mounted on an extra stand without looking for the tension ;)

Dragonwatcher2008 1 year ago
@Dragonwatcher2008 ha ha I wish they would but cymbals dont seem to be made like they used to, however they do sound better.
and I fully admit I get a bit too into the moment at gigs and hit them too hard than realise and have to back off
they re doing well though :)

@Dragonwatcher2008 They sound good broke. I like how it decays the sound a bit. I don't like cymbals too ringy.

I can tell you why most of your cymbals got dents in them... your tightening them too much on the stand.. Let the cymbal breath, let it wobble....

dude, i think its time for YOU to get new cymbals
