1. Abortion in the hands of the state. I do NOT like the idea of some redneck in Missouri determining the status of abortion, it's way too important and the Fed needs to make a decision one way or another.

2. Disbanding the Federal Reserve. It's there for a reason. In b4 "it's useless and causes inflation", I'm an Econ major.

But, we are group of States that long ago formed a Republic. We ARE supposed to have State rights on certain issues, which I think means the people in the state vote in the reps who stand for what they, the people want, ideally.

3. Getting rid of Social Security. While I agree that we need less social programs, Social Security is NOT one of the ones that should be done away with, it just needs to be restructured.

Ron Paul is for a restructuring of social security. Mainly, use the savings from foreign policy to fund people who are invested in the system. This would then allow younger workers who otherwise will receive no benefits to opt out. Now that you don't disagree with Dr. Paul, go vote for him.

She worked as an RN from the time she was 20, paying into the system all that time.

She now can't afford to buy food.

If there is a program, OTHER than SS,(which WILL be bankrupt soon) where my children can opt out of SS and save that money for themselves for retirement, I'm all for it.

It's not such a great program, really.

We need to think out of the box and find another solution.
