Sheriff Joe believes he is above the law. I agree with the sentiment of the lady who said that Joe calls it "my money". He does not act like a true public servant but only in his self-interest. I have voted for Sheriff Joe since I've lived in AZ even though I am a registered Democrat. But not this year. It's true, he is very popular around the world but that's because of his self-promotion. Too bad THEY can't vote for you, Joe! But I'm sure if they lived here, they would see the REAL you.

A federal judge has agreed with inmates' claims that conditions in Maricopa County's jails continue to violate their constitutional rights.

Judge Neil Wake found the jails provide inadequate medical and mental health care, unsanitary conditions, unhealthy food, and disciplinary practices that cause mentally ill inmates "needless suffering and deterioration."

He comes into a city at night when we have officers on the street and they dont know whats going on, Soller said. He goes after cleaning crews that subcontract out and arent employed by the city. This is just a political game hes playing. He has a homicide at his jail and hes in a close race for re-election with Dan Saban, so hes between a rock and a hornets nest looking for publicity.
