FFXI - Dynamis Jueno Gone Wrong

I remember in a Dynamis Windy one time - a yag bst died as it was summoning a crow. The crow popped up and the bst died, so we killed the crow.

30 seconds later? It summoned another crow. While it was still laying dead on the ground. We ????'d and killed it.

30 seconds later? You guessed it. Another crow. It completely ruined our run as we couldn't pull properly past it while it was summoning that stupid thing over and over and over as it kept doing silencega and whatnot. @_@

lol one time on Fenrir... a GM did like an announcement in dunes saying a glitch had been reported of random aggroing mobs.

then all of a sudden like 30 sheep and 100 other mobs came over and wrecked our pt... D: and for some reason i went from Lv 28 to 23... thank god the GM's reset me back to 28 XD

for people saying WoW is better i played FFXI 2 years i play WoW now been playing it for 1 year starting FFXI back soon but going to pay for both at same time i think but anyway they both good games just FFXI takes ALOT! of time and WoW is kinda easyer and doesnt take time to lvl dont say WoW does take long time to lvl well compared to FFXI that is both fun but WoW is alot more easy but once agian both good games ive played both

Irony is, WoW Is a direct ripoff of Everquest. Outright its nearly the same game from the exact font used for player names above their heads in the game, to the way they link items to other players. FFXI while 2 years older than WoW is still 10 times better. Play WoW for 3 weeks and you beat it, nuff said.

Agreed. I played both. The problem with WoW is that it's too easy and doesn't hook you with it's storyline. There's absolutely no drive to level other than getting better gear. In FFXI you level so you can go on missions and learn more about the story that drives the game. Also, FFXI's social community is more closely knit than WoW so that connection draws people to it.

Sounds like this was a run right after the the update where they changed certain spawns in jeuno which made it a littler harder to pull until people learned the new spawns.....in general some pulls in jeuno are still rough

we called a GM over it..they had done maitenence right beforehand on the servers and apparently there was "a tracking issue with the mobs and the direction of travel to which they chased us" ..which caused them to link the entire zone on us, twice
