Salem was the israeli band that Euronymous was trying to sign under DSP. I got to saw some of the letters Euro sent to the band in the internet of course. someone I know from Israel have the pictures of it. Euronymous really liked them and he even asked them for an Israel flag. Varg opposed to it and they quarreled about it. But Euro gave a damn. What really shock me is that Varg sent an exploding package to Salem. What an asshole that man!!

Tel Aviv has many shows,it also has Metal shops.
In Jerusalem though you have good Black Metal bands like Arallu,Bartholomeus night etc' it's a cool place,it has a good ancient atmosphere.

Oh yeah, if you want another good Israeli BM band, I;d HIGHLY recommend Melecech
One interesting thing to note is that none of them are Jewish. There are 3 of them, 1 is half Armenian half Assyrian, 1 is all Assyrian, and the other 1 is Dutch, but they just live in Israel

The BM bands here don't do much damage they just make music.
But for example Golgolot's guy hates Arallu's guy.
Because arallu's guy is very anti religious and made songs against Orthodox Jews.
Although both of them are nationalists there is a very big dislike.
Arallu are from Jerusalem too BTW.
Good thing that Melechesh are not Israeli anymore they moved to the netherlands but they always made and still make great music

2.Israel is a secular country.
3.Alot of bands that sing about it don't believe in it..they just sing about it..show it..and they use Black metal because it's the best music to show that with it.
