  • This is my christmas song.

  • I'm glad to say Pink Floyd is MY drug.

  • I've never really experimented with mind altering drugs and I understand the plot of this movie. Good music IS a mind altering drug. Pink Floyd was my drug for many long teenage nights and I will never regret that.

  • @Pilaf1984 same for me. people who need drugs to enjoy the music arent real fans.

  • 2nd song?

  • Floyd fans are the best !!! such an understanding of the crazy world .

  • When The Tigers Broke Free its greats! cheers from chile

  • saw this in movie theatres when i was 14 ..damn talk about a guy facing down his demons

  • Damn this is deep, i remember when i was a teenager, watch this on mushrooms and couldnt stop crying! lol Older and wiser now so kids dont take drugs! lol

  • i watched it on shrooms and i was scared as fuck

  • I just cried to it now. This song is so deep... ''They were all left behind, most of them dead the rest of them dying''!..

  • @nastybelladonna yea self realization ego death and removal from subjective experience into the objective isnt for everyone but, just because you cant understand it doesnt make you any wiser than me

  • @SoundsLikePurple Never said I was wiser than you! I was taking about my own resentment of losing someone, and my path of drugs etc! So just because you dont understand in what I wrote Not my problem, nor do i care!

Then explodes in the final line "And that's how the High Command took my Daddy from me".

  • The way Roger waters says "drawer" reminds me of Mike Myers " simon" character. Unreal song though their best by a LANDSLIDE! Well you know my name is Simon....lol

  • what an awsome way to start the movie, so sad and it really makes you get into the screen when you watch it love IN THE FLESH ?

  • 2:50

  • Uhhh... Thats some false information there, sir.

  • Their lyrics are so... God... that's de authentic reason why they are one of the BIGGEST rock bands around the world!!

    Pink Floyd 4 fucking ever!

  • Favorite Band,Album and Movie

  • bob geldof is just the actor who plays in it ..,, it's

roger Waterswho wrote and sung it

  • Roger didn't write all of the music on the wall,Dave wrote the song comfortly numb and kicks azz on the guitar solos.

  • I thought Roger wrote comfortabley numb and Dave wrote the solos, but I'm probally wrong.

  • david improvised all of the solos

  • @panther122 and Run Like Hell too.

  • fungi

  • Bob Geldof is awesome!

  • Sieg heil Bob Geldof, Sieg heil! ;) But yeah he was rather cool, my English 112 class actually watched and wrote a literary analysis of The Wall and I think just about everybody loved it

  • RLY!? wat grade were u in? i hope we do tht!

  • Ya RLY! It was my second semester of college and just because Charles Hampton Poff Jr. is the best English professor ever to live on this Earth. :D

  • WHAT?!?!? XD I AM SOOOOOOOO JEALOUS :]

  • Wow. Powerful opening scene. Not to say the actor's vocals are shitty, but I liked Waters a lot better. Lol.

  • Water's voice displays angst.

This man's voice conveys real anger!

  • Actually, after listening to this two or three more times and comparing it to the original, I'm beginning to like it more. Agreed.

  • This IS Roger Waters.

Bob Geldof sings in the flesh during the movie but not this "when the tigers broke free is ALL Waters

  • would the singer have been bob geldof?

  • me too but its floyd

  • dont mess with bob geldof

  • What is past is prologue. Study the past.

  • dude, this vid just made a grown man cry

  • it's the beggining of the movie man .... you should see it

  • Have to love Pink FLoyd since day one. Everything they made was either a mind altering experiece, or on that makes you reflect apon youre own inner fears. As many do every day. There combo of Gimour and Waters is no where nearly amatched.

  • Song name at 4:42

  • in the flesh?

    i think

  • No, its more of "The Little Boy that Santa Claus Forgot." "In the Flesh?" starts at 5:40."

  • 7,777 views, what did i won?

  • You've won our undying love and admiration. Take it, damn you!

  • I already have that, what else you can you offer?

  • Well, one of my favs, watched it a dozen times.

  • I LOVE this movie, and pink floyd OWNS

  • so is this lunar eclipse just another circular myth, or am i the only one disturbed today? Socrates?

  • Eric Waters, Roger Waters father died at Anzio, Italy, fighting the NAZI forces. Thats what these songs are about.

  • If you that's all these songs are about, you're definetly missing something.

  • you're definitely missing the word "think"

    dumbass.

  • The wall is meant for questions and opinions

there is no ACCURATE meaning to any of this. This movie and album is meant to be taken unto your life and become a better person.

  • not necessarily about making you a better person.. but to become a more aware individual

  • I agree.

Your experiences ,and The Wall is an experience, molded you into who you are right now, and you will continue to change. How you refect and analyze these experiences is part of bettering yourself.

  • you called somebody a name on the internet. You are so tough and cool.

  • sure

  • yeah right these songs are about cher @Bigfishlittlepond
