  • @chheidze It almost sounds like Gay & Proud lol, what a loser...

  • Alan Schwartz just called. He needs the 2008 fiscal forecast.

  • The hilarious part of this video is that a year later, Bear Stearns went bust, so the woman in the video was probally without a job one year later. Also, after the GFC, the financial analyst career outlook is fairly bleak

  • @barbar1997 Any other careers similar to this one?

  • i like rock paper scissors my self.

  • Can you get a master in business without having a undergrad degree in a finance.accounting related field?

  • Try Asian women # lushfmlk.info #

  • lol bear sterns

  • Investing? Can we cut the crap and just call it what it is. A crooked rigged CASINO pretending to be legitimate. The only "skills" needed for this "job" is to be able to lie and lose money for people well by siphoning it off to the rich pigs who control the casino.....

    WHAT A JOKE!

  • @dink65 bahahah y u watching the video moron? serve me my fries you poor bitch!

  • my dream job! but with a general MBA, i don't know if i would ever qualify. just one chance with that training is all I ask! :(

  • Finance seem confusing and non-constant, but it also seem fun.

I'll be sure to have my foot in the door in another sector tho!

  • You're better off being with a CPA holding an MBA ,You're more employable that way.

  • I'm a Street Cleaner & I'm proud of it

  • @chheidze Nothing wrong with blue collar work!

  • Bear WHAT?

  • what a boring job

  • Im interested in becoming a financial analyst but Ive read some mixed opinions about this career. Some say that working as a financial analyst is a thankless job where taking vacations is frowned upon where you are required to work 12-15 hours a day and that you should expect to lose your job a few times because it is unstable. Can anybody out there who is actually a financial analyst give me better insight into what its like working in this industry?

  • Anybody here a financial analyst?

  • using a calculator, paper and pen in 2007? are you serious? no wonder Bear Stearns got !@#$ed...

  • @flameblitz

I hate computers. Pen and paper is the way to go.

  • @flameblitz

    whats paper?

ans this pen you speak of....

  • @flameblitz ...What do you mean?

  • w00t, CFA all the way!

Sorry Bear Sterns, but thanks for the video!

  • hey, currently I'm on my senior year in finance and I'm also studying the canadian securities course. Should I start with the CFA?

  • I really dont think that youtube is the right place for questions like this...

  • Hi. I have an M.B.A. and I am currently going for C.F.A. designation. I would highly recommend you to take this step. This will be more intense, in my opinion, to what you have learned in school. Unlike a college degree, the C.F.A. designation has a worldwide recognition.

  • where is your LinkedIn Account?

  • canadian securites is godo and ez, the cfa is nothing like it.. some stuff is easy but cfa is realyl godo to start.. try to get a scholarship for CFA.. u only pay 231 (tax in, U$D) is what u pay if you get sponsored.

  • the CSC is like a table of contents when compared to the CFA program. you can easily pass the CSC with 1-2 weeks of hard studying. the practice questions are very similar to the actual exam. this is not the case for the CFA. you have to become an absolute expert to pass any level.

i suggest doing the CSC as a warm up first. you are actually permitted to take level 1 of the CFA in your senior year. if you plan on passing it will be very hectic. it will be like taking any extra 3 or 4 courses.

  • Thanks for all the sugestions!!

  • I'm taking my first csc course soon, then after that the handbook, and i should be done my dipoma in finance this year. just got hired at a prop trading firm. I already have 2 years work exp which is needed, plus a diploma, to exit out of the CFA. I'm 21.. should I get more exp or can I just jump in and the CFA program?

I heard the fail rate is 70% haha :(

  • Are you a financial analyst?

  • Shouldn't the female analyst at the beginning now being saying 'Hi Steve, this is XXX calling from JPMorgan...' that is if she still has her job and not invested her entire life saving into BSC shares @170

  • "I expect the NASDAQ to hit 6000 within 12 to 18 months". -Ralph Acampora, Prudential's chief technical analyst in a comment to USA Today on March 10, 2000.

Thanks for explaining this 'ever more complicated' market and simplifying it.
