battlestations midway was one of the best games ive ever played. The play style was very unique and fun. I was REALLY disapointed when i tried out Pacific when it game out. It was clunky with tons of bugs. Maybe it is better now, who knows. The original was an amzing game though when you played online 4v4.

@punish907 its pure stagey game, you have to constantly flip from ship view to map view to see where your other assets are, the biggest mistake soo many people make is they play like in this video with one ship while their other stuffed gets fucked up. Its a bit overwhelming at first but you eventually get the hang of it. Its pure team based online too. but ya if ya like strategy games this is a must.

dont you guys think this is unrealestic? if it was real life i think the cruiser would smartly detach a couple of its MANY 5" guns to fire on that destroyer. also dont you think that the fubuki is firing its guns abit too quick? its very unrealestic. fubuki class DD's used a 12.7 cm/50 gun which requires to be loaded at angles between 5-10° which reduced the firing speed into 5-10 rounds a minute.

@dividednation44 this is a trailer,so probably it's being played on easy difficulty so the AI accuracy is nerfed,the damage on the destroyer's guns is increased and the reload rate also.I have never played this game but I know that in battlestations midway(the prequel) the game got a lot more realistic if you put it on hard difficulty,and much more enjoyable too.Especially since he was against an atlanta class,which in the 1st one was the best ship against DD's and aircraft in the game

man, battlestations midway was tough. especially for bombers, one shot and thats it. it doesnt "reload the bombs" u go to your target, hope u dont get destroyed, drop and if you miss all the way back to base to rearm..

USS Atlanta was nearly classed as an AA ship, but Omaha had more guns and was faster. Atlanta was later remodeled into USS Oakland then after than USS Jeaneau II. so many remodels!

To destroy ships or planes with artillery/flak you need to lead the target(fire where it is going) especially with torpedos

One word of advice man aim the torps in front of were he is going ( if he is accelarating) and the same rules goes with artillery if you were at the range you were alos aim for importrant parts of the enemy vessel like the bridge or something just some helpfull critisim =D nice vid btw

I think its better to use the japanese fuso class battleships because they have 3 more deck duns than the South Dakota.
