  • I have a 16". It's not too loud like most chinas.

  • Hey T,

How much would it cost to send this cymbal to the UK. the city is Liverpool.

    Thanks

  • i know this video is a little old but i'm considering getting one of these, i like it's attack, but i don't really fancy the decay, any way i could get a dyer decay out of it? other than tightening it to the stand?

  • Wuhan makes some of the best china for the price. I cracked my 16 and im getting a paiste rude but im gunna get a 14 inch wuhan to go with it.

  • i LOVE it. The short quick "SNAP" just as you hit it... Perfect for the genre of metal that I play

  • I didn't know Chris Berman played drums too! Nice! (In all seriousness though, great review. I love the Wuhan chinas)

  • Just got one. Its PERFECT:D

  • i heard it breaks really quick though..

  • how many sizes does it go to

  • he sounds a bit like stan lee from marvel comics

  • hey guys! i just got this cymbal.. i dont usually give a fuck about telling people reviews on the shit i buy but this cymbal is honestly so dope.. i got in off ebay in australia for 115 free postage.. if you like parkways drive etc, fuckin get it!!

  • volumous lol GRAMMAR NAZI!!!!! ITS VOLUMINOUS!!!!

  • @jerrydrummer7 alot of people break theirs but thats due to hard hitting and probably bad technique. I think you should be fine

  • You sound like Tommy Farese

  • My personal opinion: this sounds like an old bucket.

  • whats better for breakdowns 16" or 18" ?

  • I thought I was watching Jackass for a second there.

  • lol sounds like stan lee

  • How about the decay? Do you think this cymbal is quite a versatile one?

  • I really like this cymbal... In comparison to a low end sabian and zildjain, it doesn't have a high (and rather annoying imo) high pitch ring, instead it's really low and dark. I also really like the really fast decay, it's really to the point. Good for it''s price, imo. Might have to look into buying one.

  • You sound like Johnny Knoxville when he acts like the old man hahaha!

  • y i it upside down

  • Hey how can i get one of these i cant find your site im looking to play metal so i think its good for me right ???

  • damn right when i was about to buy a wuhan 16" your ebay page goes down? sucks

  • i think this cymbal is from china .. so if you buy chinese cymbals.. you must buy it in china .. made in china

  • my drummer just got one of these, it is by far the best sounding china i've ever heard. my old drummer had a saibian aa 16" china, and it was nowhere near as good. plus with the wuhans, you dont need to hit them very hard at all to get a full sound, and its incredibly loud.btw, in the 12 china video, you said you need technique to hit these. do you mean hit it on the bend, as opposed to the outer edge?

  • I bought one today, an 16 inch. Sounds amazing!

  • okay, does this guy sound like Danny Devito or is that just me?

  • hey T, i just got mine 16inch wuhan, i love it, dark, trashy, load

  • It's an awesome cymbal. But I heard that it cracks very easily. Is it true?

  • what would be the best for kickass breakdowns? 16" or 18"? I think 16" would be awesome..

  • @BoOmDrumz I'd go 18", some 16" chinas don't have the volume or presence, 18" chinas always seem to work best.

  • i think 16 is the max im gonna like wuhan chinas ha

  • @jimrootmag good choice It's a nice size not too big not too small. We also have it in stock.................T

  • @jimrootmag I think they have a 28" china :P lol

  • this cymbal is very trashy but not very durrable ive had it for aabout 3 months and its almost half gone :/

  • I think this has to be my favorite size china of them all cuz it has perfect tone

  • I love this cymbal so much its wuhan isn't it? how can you tell with no wuhan logo? Plus how much would this cymbal plus shipping cost, to the uk?

  • @acdcjonnyboy Ok, Slow down mate. First we know it's a Wuhan because your actually looking at the bottom of the Cymbal. The top is on the bottom and on it , In big black letters it says "Wuhan". China's are customarily played inverted, with the bottom facing up. By watching the Video or just looking at the still you can see a ridge running around what essentially is the high point of the Cymbal, That is considered the strongest part of the China. That's why it's played inverted........ T

  • @ILDUCE61 oh... cool! thanks! so how much is THIS exact china cymbal? on its own and where can i buy it?

  • @acdcjonnyboy We sell it for $35 and you can purchase it at our Ebay store Cymbals & Snares. If you go to this channels home page there's a link under the information colum. Thanks.........T

  • @ILDUCE61 the price of the cymbal is good but why on earth is the p&p so much? that costs more than the actual cymbal itself!! it'd be cheaper to sail to america to get it lol

  • @acdcjonnyboy in the uk its marketed as a stagg cymbal.

  • @rockrule80 what?

  • @acdcjonnyboy about your china comment, in the UK Wuhan Cymbals ARE Called Stagg cymbals hit em up.

  • @rockrule80 no there not, there two different companys?...

  • @acdcjonnyboy Wuhans are rebranded as Stagg in the uk look it up!

  • I live in Singapore and i want to get 16" China, 10" and 8" Splash really bad T.T but TOO FUCKING BAD that there's no shop selling Wuhan cymbals. Seriously, if anyone knows any Wuhan cymbal shop in Singapore, please reply...

  • @joshuachan56 We ship world wide and we have shipped to singapore before. Would you like a qoute on those cymbals shipped to your country ?........T

  • @ILDUCE61 Ohh... So how much is the shipping tax?

  • @joshuachan56 I can give you a partial answer, Unless you live in New Jersey there is no sales tax if you do live in jersey It's 7%. As far as shipping goes if you can tell me where you live ( include your zip code) I can tell you the cost of shipping. Thanks for your product inquiry.........T

  • Hey T ! I was wondering, do you ever have problems with the cymbal's angle cause it looks like the way the bell is made, it makes the cymbal tilt a lot...

  • @iwillwait Excellent question bro , I haven't personally had any problems. Nor have any of our customers complained about it, but I would imagine some people have had small issue's with it. Again, I'm conjecturing that those who have experienced a slight titl to their pie's just go about trying to correct it with felts or wedges or something OR do nothing at all. They are handmade so your going to get those nuances from time to time......T

  • yo t do these crack easy

  • @ironmaiden666kane Not if you have good technique. I have used a Wuhan China on my kit for the last 3 years. Not a ding or dent or crack to be seen. It's all about technique Bro, If you hit a Cymbal like you are suppose to you won't have any problems. T.

  • @ILDUCE61 What is the correct way to hit the cymbal?

  • @yanksrule5502 If I were playing that cymbal in a practice or band rehersal I would hit it more with the tip of the stick than the shoulder. In this context I try to demonstrate the different sounds you can get from this cymbal. Hitting the Cymbal with the shoulder is one way you can do that, also the raised rim where I was hitting it is by far the strongest part of the China. It can take a good hit there to no ill effect....................T

  • Ive had this one for about a month, it is amazing. Great Sound! Wont dent let alone crack now matter how hard you hit it. Cant beat the price on it either. I would by Wuhans before any other cymbal

  • hi T, i am looking for a 2nd smaller china to compliment my 18" sabian b8 china. My b8 china is great, but it has a lot of overtone and i'm looking for something with a darker tone and bit more decay. Originally, I was considering the 14" wuhan china because i wanted a smaller one, but I like the sound of this one even more from test videos. Do you think there is enough of a difference between the two that i should get the 16"?

  • @PointlesInsanity Yes, absolutely look at it this way forget the size, there's the weight difference, Bronze Difference B8 vs B20 ( Wuhan) manufacuring differences Sabian " sheet stamped, Wuhan hand cast. There's so much more to the sonic signature of a Cymbal than it's size. That is probably the least important factor. If it agrees with you more than get it. You can always add a smaller Wuhan down the road there very affordable. I hope I've been helpful. T.

  • @ILDUCE61 Huh, and here i went and spent 70$ on a sabian. I forgot about the b20 bronze used in wuhans...it makes me want one even more now. hmm 14 or 16? maybe both... anyway thanks a lot

  • hey T

i just found a color coated Wuhan Black China, its looks something like the pitch black series by zildjian and black alphas by paiste

  • @jesse17ful BACK IN BLACK !! Wuhan has re-introduced it's Black China. They were originally released about a year ago, However due to some type of manufacturing issue ( The color black is applied here in the United States, Not China ) They were removed from circulation, However Wuhan's engineers I suppose Research and development team ? Resolved what ever probelms there were. We just got several in yesterday, They will be listed by tomorrow and include a HD True Stero sound Vid. C it on YT&EbayT

  • Im scared to hit it it looks like it will break during a show

  • @BlakeLovesdrums Don't worry bro, That's what there made for. I've had a 14" and 18" Wuhan on my kit for over 2 years and not a crack. T.

  • If you don't know how to play these, they will crack easy. But if you do crack them, just cut off the outside and make it a china bell. :)

  • only $40?

  • @overcomewithplagues You got your prices mixed up bro. It's actually $35.99 it's probably around $40 with shipping. Were not trying to get rich just make a decent profit and keep on going. T

  • i got some wuhans (12 14 18) love them man they rock and at a good price

  • best china for harcore/metalcore

  • @kwd53 I won't ague with that. Although I'm not into hardcore/metalcore, The fact still remain's Wuhan makes one hell of a good China cymbal. T.

  • is there such thing as a light and thrashy china

  • @jesse17ful Well ALL the Wuhans are trashy. But as far as a China that is designated Light/Trashy which is what I think your refering to, Not in the Two brands that make china's we sell Wuhan or Silken. There maybe a line from another company that fits the bill but I'm not aware of it. I wish I could give you a definitive answer. If I may ask What are you exactly looking for ? Perhaps I can suggest someting we sell. Silken makes Chinas as small as 8" so that might fit the bill. let me know. T

  • @ILDUCE61 kool thanks

  • @ILDUCE61 btw i just found a trashy yet light cymbal and its by zildjian

but be real, this sounds better then zildjian chinas

  • @jesse17ful Jesse, what sounds better is so subjective it's not funny. The various brands of cymbals produce Cymbals that sound different it's up to you the listener to decide which is better or which is worse. If you like the Wuhan's over the Zildjians that's an absolutely valid opinion. Quite frankly if I wasn't buying and using Wuhan's my next choice would be Silken's I use a few in their Sebring series and they are absolutely fantastic. Thanks for your input. T

  • @ILDUCE61 i understand

  • I have this and i love it, its sooo loud

  • @mctuber68 Yeah I agree, there's just something about those Wuhan China's. Overall there probably one of the best buys in the Cymbal market. T.

  • Lol dude you sound JUST like Johnny Knoxville xD

  • I'm Probably Gonna Get This China It Sounds Awesome

  • @HIMSk8rCKY Glad you like it very good choice. We hope you purchase it from us, But if not we are glad to present a quality video that helps you in selecting your equipment. C & S is an authorized Wuhan dealer, we carry every Wuhan made. IN fact that China just went on sale tonight as part of our Columbus day sale. Either way good luck with your China your gonna love it. T.

  • @ILDUCE61 I Was Going To Order It From You Guys But The Website would'nt Work

  • @HIMSk8rCKY We hacked into a week or so ago were still having problems with our link. If you have'nt purchased it yet just go to ebay and punch up Wuhan you can access our site from any of our listings. Thanks bro. T

  • I'd say your voice is more like Johnny Knox in the mafia. lol, good video.

  • @metalicadude69 That's a good one Bro I like that. Glad you liked the Video.

  • i have it but it cracked but still sounds great

  • @bradthesk8er1 Sometimes you can't kill a Wuhan China. These are one of the few cymbals that can pull it off. I think because it's a Wuhan China it's got that nasty ass trashy as hell sound to it, sometimes it can work even cracked. Have you done anything to try and stop the crack ? Just out of curiosity where is it cracked at ?----T

  • @ILDUCE61 ok well if u pause at 1:10 on ur video, the crack is about right where ur stick is and its a good 4 inches!!!! LOL and no i havent tried to fix it do u have any suggestions??

  • @bradthesk8er1 A very common way to atleast stop the crack from spreading is to take a drill with a good sharp bit and drill holes at the very end of both sides of the crack. What this does it "rounds" out the end of the cracks and arrests the metal from splitting any further. On the other hand the one great thing about almost any Wuhan the replacement cost for a new one isn't jaw dropping. We have the 16" china's on sale for like $32 bucks and some change. Try fixing it first. Good luck----T.

  • @ILDUCE61 thank u so much :D

  • @bradthesk8er1 No problem my Brother Drummer, We're not just a store or channel to purchase equipment on. We are here to help and assist other drummers whenever possible. My company Cymbals & Snares and myself wish to contribute to the Percussion world in as many ways as possible. Everything from selling great fairly priced equipment To tips on practicing, cleaning and even fixing cracks on a cymbal. let me know how you make out if you try and fix it.----- T.

  • Is this Corey Feldman?

  • @xBOOOGERx Well atleast that's one that hasn't been said before I'll give you that.-----T.

  • @ILDUCE61 I'm kidding great video.

  • @ILDUCE61 Oh, yeah i will! thanks for reminding me!

  • Hey you sound Like T from Cymbals and snares!

  • @ConcretePie LMFAO, Good one Bro !! I didn't see that one comming. Atleast it wasn't Johnny knoxville, Danny Devito, Sounds like you should be reviewing cigars., and looks comparisons to Al pacino and Robert Dinero. Very original. I hope you suscribed if your not a subscriber all ready. T

  • "once they get a little bigger you can actually ride on these things" THATS WHAT SHE SAID.

  • @swimmingdrummerboy LMFAO, That was a great one dude. That is something I would sooo say myself. I'm actually pissed I didn't think of it. Point for you my Brother drummer Point for you. LOL T

  • Hey T I got this china from you today just as you said it would come today, I'm very happy with your service but there is a large scratch inside the 'cup' portion of the cymbal that I'm afraid may turn into a crack within a few months or so, I've had that happen with another china. Is there a brief return policy in case something happens to it soon?

  • Hey T,

Im gonna buy alot of these cymbals soon but

Is there a way to reduce the high pingy overtone a little?

  • @MANNY295555 If ya buy them from me I'll tell ya.... LOL I'm only kidding bro Advice on this channel is Free with absolutely no obligation. Moon gel will work my freind. It's absolutely the best sonic manipulation product on the market. You can cut it in pieces so you can get the exact sound your looking for. I use them on my china's and my rides to cut back on overtone and too much wash. Moon Gel is your answer my friend. Good luck . Seriously let me know how that works out for ya. T

  • @ILDUCE61 lol ok thanks

  • Thank god you're a drummer, not a singer...

  • @AsianAbuser Hey ooh, what are ya sayin ? Anybody can sing wether or not it's good singin is another story. In addition to wholesaling, retailing and giving drum lessons I WAS gonna branch into being a vocal coach. I guess you won't be signing up for lessons ? LOL------ T

  • @ILDUCE61 Haha no thanks not for me

  • @AsianAbuser Ok then that's fair enough No voice lessons for you. However I hope that doesn't preclude you from purchasing Drums and Cymbals from me Or the tons of other products we carry. ----- T

  • @ILDUCE61 Dont worry it wont. Im just learning and have a cheap set of paiste 101's. Im looking to add to my kit but dont know what to get so just looking around at the moment

  • @AsianAbuser Well we have lots and lots of info here that's right up your ally. Wuhans are a nice affordable upgrade and Silkens move you to the next level, but still at a very affordable price. If you have any questions about Anything don't be afraid to ask. Advice from me is honest , sincere and comes with no obligation to purchase anything. I do not mind helping out any new drummer when I can. T

  • Just purchased one of these from you since my Agazarian 16" china cracked, thought I'd help out your business since I wanted one of these for my replacement :)

  • @WhenxChristxReturnsx Thanks bro I appreciate the business. I'll have that cymbal on it's way to you tomorrow. With any luck you'll be using it by friday. I don't take any "sale" lightly and I try and show my sincere appreciation, anytime someone makes a purchase from me. Thanks Again T

  • @ILDUCE61 Anytime, you've earned my support. Thank you very much, I'll let you know when it arrives, your service is greatly appreciated. I'm just glad to help, your videos have excellent quality and are very helpful. You seem to know your cymbals and it pays off, seeing as your additional information about the quality and materials of your cymbals is very useful. Again I appreciate your concern. I hope your site does well, you deserve it man.

  • Why is it placed upwards down? Just got this very cymbal 2 days ago, I'm pretty new to chinas, so if anyone would be so kind to give me some tips or something, it'd be much appreciated :-)

  • @rakadungdung China's tend to be very thin on the edge's. The strongest part of a china is the inner rim just where the china starts to angle in towards the bell. This part is only accessable if you play it backwards. Essentially they're stronger that way. If you don't have excellent and I mean excellent technique playing it normally cal easily result in a cracked cymbal.---- T

  • @ILDUCE61 Oh, I see. I tried it earlier, it felt really weird playing it like that though

  • @rakadungdung After a few days it will seem like old hat you"ll see --- T

  • WHY?? Why don't we have Wuhans here in Serbia?? I want this cymbal!

  • @KonstantinUb We have shipped to Serbia. If you want it check out the shipping prices. We ( Cymbals & Snares) has shipped to 41 different countries so far T

  • @ILDUCE61 Ah, awesome! I sure will! Thanks, man. :)

  • @KonstantinUb Let me know how you make out. Most of our site is down for the next few weeks but we are still selling stuff. If your having problems email me at our company email address and we'll work it out. cymbalsandsnares@yahoo.com-- T

  • im so goin to buy this!

  • @nikofisk It's one of my favorite size china's. Very versitile. It's that transition size china not to big and not to small. excellent choice my freind. T

  • 16" China is where its at dude! the best sounding cymbal ever, in my opinion, lol.

  • @paintballer10 Bro Just got out of Hospital today. Had surgery on June 3rd. I'll be recuperating Bed rest until early part of next week. We will have most of our site back up and running in about 2 weeks or so. If you can't wait I can recommend some other sites to get it at for you. But You gotta email me. I don't mind sending customers to another store to buy from but ain't gonna advertise them on my channel. T. cymbalsandsnares@yahoo.com

  • Personally, I prefer having this cymbal positioned with the rim facing down. That is because I find that hitting the rim gives a more crash-like sound (and also somewhat louder), while hitting the rim creates a more knocking-like sound, because it is the most solid part of the cymbal. But of chourse, by hitting the edge of the china, it increases the chance of it breaking.

Just putting that out there ;o

  • Is this the way you should mount the wuhan china? I can't really tell TBH I have the 16" and I'm not sure what to do?

  • @Lazyboy51 You should mount it the way it is in the video. also the best part of the cymbal to hit is the Rim. It's were the cymbals starts to begin it's inward slope. That's generally the strongest part of the china.

  • @ILDUCE61 Thanks brother!

  • @Lazyboy51 Listen to what ILDUCE tells ya. My friend is a drummer (as well as I), though he knows nothing about his instrument. He had a ZBT China, and COMPLETELY ruined the sound by hitting it on the opposite side of what is shown, and denting the edges down. Now it sounds like a wet noodle slapping onto the pavement.

  • @FOXGEAR92 Haha yeah, I suppose so that sucks for him and thanks man for the drummer to drummer tips T is a great guy and I love coming on here clean comments no trash talking (hard to find on youtube)

  • This is the china i am thinking i want to get...

but i want to know, and this goes for all sizes of chinas, does it make much difference in sound/life of the cymbal if you hit it on the edge or on the inner rim where it starts sloping down? im not that hard of a hitter..so what is the sound difference, and what would be the best way for me to hit it?

  • I really want to get this cymbal, but im not sure im going to like the sound, I'm not sure what music preference you listen to but im in a hardcore/metal band and I would love this for a breakdown,I don't hit extremely hard. But would you recommend it?And if I do get one, does it matter what angle I have it at?

  • @borntorock123 This cymbal works very well for Rock/metal. I honestly would recommend it. One great thing about Wuhan is the price, For $35 your not really investing $200 + for something from the BIG3 Then I would be more concerned. Your not a hard hitter which is good it means you have technique. Angle it llike I have it and play the inner rim where the cymbal starts to slope inward. T

  • gettin this!

  • nah the 27 inch is best

  • @wp08021 I'm strongly considering getting one of those but I'm afraid it'll be too dark, I'll have to hear it in person. Also I'm really afraid it will get some really bad keyholing.

  • First welcome to Our Channel. Your input is greatly appreciated. I will say this Our audio is as good as it gets. We film all of our products with a very good video camera which films in HI-def Pics and digital Audio. This is litterally how it sounds. As far as keyholing Just use a cymbal sleeve it's a piece of plastic that slides down the shaft of your stand preventing metal to metal contact. That shouldn't be a problem at all.

  • @ILDUCE61 Thank you. Yes, I very much appreciate the very high quality. Hmm interesting, I think I'd prefer something a bit brighter, my 16" Agazarian china sounds a bit trashier...but I think Agazarian is a sub-line of Wuhan cymbals, kind of cheaper. Yes, a cymbal sleeve would certainly help, I'll have to go get a few since my stands either came with them or I just used tough paper towels wrapped in layers of tape. But those aren't very reliable in the long run.

  • I think this is the best overall size also.

  • madgameman1, welcome and thanks for your input. Every active member this channel attracts makes it a better place. T.
