hey, i know the last reply was like 4 months ago, and im not sure if you already fixed the problem, i might have a solution.

i have ff7 on my pc to and it has all sorts of problems. So i used this method and its started to work 100%.

Click on run, then type in 'dxdiag' and you'll open up the direct x diagnostics, then click on the sound section and drag the sound acceleration all the way to the left till it says 'no acceleration' and then try the game.

I already gave up playing it on my PC i made it work on my PSP insted, but you know, maybe you helped somebody else who has this problem and saw this video.

@vazsas hell i have the pc version too. runs fine no problems yet. there is this thing with the rendored backrounds thou. every rendered backround has these grids on the whole screen all except people and clickable objects. the fight scenes don do this they look normal. any ideas wiht this prob email me at mperez925@yahoo.com

when i had ff7 for PC i had a similar problem due to a scratched up disc if you wanted you could try downloading the PSx emulator and get a final fantasy 7 rom.. at least you would be able to play that way

It works fine with my vista.. Maybe your CD is scratched, if you have the game installed on the pc, get a crack .exe. If not, maybe its the PC that doesnt support the graphics... But im not good at those kind of things. Hope i helped! (And i'm almost pretty sure it already was solved, but i wanted to help anyway X3)

this problem is the Graphic tarjet,reinstall the drivers and actualize the drivers from graphic tarjet. or try down the resolution from the game. I play this game with Wxp professional sp2 and Ati radeon 9200 with the drivers actualized.

Every so often after you play the game you need to restart your computer. You'll wind up lagging out otherwise. If you play for a prolonged period with reseting then it'll crash. Otherwise your computer may need defragging. And finally do you have any extra windows up?

it looks like your computer isnt strong enough to handle the game maybe you should take your save and game put if on a different computer and see if that works

Yo, click on "more info" on that crash, it will tell you what is the problem... At the top it will say what caused the error, something like datacache.dll or something.

try downloading another version download utorrent and go to mininova then on categries go to games then search final fantasy 7 then look next to it if it sese windows click and download it

it says what you can see too this is only becouse they just converted the ps1 game...and thats IT

oh...i got another problem now with this game...u know when i play it there is no sound no more...there was before i patched it with the XP patch but after that the sound just didnt come...i mean there is no sound :( so i tested to re-install it but i got the same problem...so right now i shall download it and play it on my psp insteed...mabye its better playing with that one...
