  • i picture mathmatics when i hear this

  • this is so sad and touching :'(

  • MASTERPIECE

  • I listened to this soundtrack while I read the book. Setting it right it fit nearly perfectly. The book is ten times more chilling and haunting than the movie. Some parts, my eyes were as wide as saucers. Some parts, while they were running, my eyes would run through the words and my heart just as quickly. Some parts I could barely read through my tears. The movie is great but read the book... with the soundtrack... you will never forget.

  • I like the part, where they find the bug. Strange moment.

  • amazing soundtrack for an amazing movie

  • The most emotional soundtrack I have ever heard.

  • this song, the dialouge, the editing. altogether one of the most depressing scenes in movie history. :-(

  • This one who fights can loose. This one who don´t fight, has already loose. Berthold Brecht

  • Wer kämpft kann verlieren.Wer nicht kämpft hat schon verloren...

    Berthold Brecht

  • I suffer from depression, when I walk alone at night from my job to my house (I live alone) I listen to this music and it strangely cheers me up even though its quite a sad song. It has feeling and beauty

  • @warwick2155 You are not alone :) your Thoughts make you feel alone... What are your thoughts are your feelings... you think you feel alone. think differently and youl be different.

  • @warwick2155

same here, there's just something about it that doesn't get old

  • @Abobojo It's still better to try at least...

  • FUCKING MOVIE GREAT FUCKING MUSIC GREAT

  • why did she decid to kill herself ? whyyy ?

  • @MegaPrefetch What kind of a life was there?

  • @MegaPrefetch She lost hope

  • Carrying the fire...

  • @tangjkd This was a sad story, but somehow it had hope at the end....

  • @tangjkd The scene hurt, it actually hurt me to watch.

  • How can a so simple music be so beautiful...?

  • so amazing. it brings me to tears every time i listen to it.

  • thanks a lot music, you've brought a grown man to tears

  • watch?v=zkiRnxF2FNY

  • SUCH AN AMAZING FILM AND SCORE! Why Avatar got nominated for an oscar and not this i do not know..

  • Sounds a lot like 'The assasination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford'. Shortly said: this soundtrack is beautiful.

  • @vcwsmit So true

  • "All I know is that the boy is my warrant, and if he is not the word of god, then god never spoke"

  • @TheTwoGeeks

That line always gives me goosebumps.

  • "Go south. You keep him warm and you go south. You won't survive another winter here."

  • Sad and depressing... but shows the power of human. Power of love and memories.

  • the clock stopped......

  • i didn't cry during this movie. I guess i realized that something really bad was going to happen from the beginning.

  • @brb941 I cried because I knew exactly what was going to happen. I just wasn't ready to accept it. Until the Veteran showed up, I was scared for the Boy. I felt all this despite having read the book and knowing full well how it ended.

  • @level22productions well if it makes you feel any better, the boy probably dies from radiation sickness later.

  • @brb941 ha you just had to crush my hopes didn't ya? that's cool. You're probably right anyway

  • @level22productions

Dw man, he's wrong anyway :P

There is no mention of bombs or radiation, only flames.

It was a natural disaster in my mind.

  • @Needham90 if u watch the preview it shows that they were natural disasters :)

  • This song reminds me of the song "Time Jesum Transeuntum" also by Nick Cave. The movie made me cry and this soundtrack fits so perfectly.

  • I watched the film, but I think this track did not appear in the film, right???

  • @hilaryduffok ...actually this song can be found in the movie, as the Father is about to throw that ring off the bridge, and he recalls the last time he saw the Mother, before she disappeared in the darkness of the night...probably the best scene in the movie, and this music fits it perfectly

  • this is sad i wanna read the book

  • i hv seen this movie few times , and i must say this movie made me cry , both actors specialy the boy acted so well, but in the end i dont want to watch this kinda movie which made me cry.lolz

  • I love this song the book made me cry

  • If I were God, I would make the world just so. And so I have you... I have you.

  • @MANTASTICmonday what does he mean by this sentance .. imean i can translate it .. but what's his true meaning for this ..

    sorry for asking

  • @LevyCore What he means is that he doesn't want to change a single thing about the world if it means not being with the person he cares for.

  • I'm not belittling this track at all, but can anyone else hear Muse - Bliss?

  • @RicorbMusic I can hear it.

And that's not belittling the track, Muse are amazing.

  • this sounds sort of like song for bob from the assassination of jesse james

  • @digvoldon Indeed, what i first thought on listening to it

  • I think this is my favourite track no the OST, it has references to the vast solitude of other tracks, but has an inspiring overture, representing that hope still exists

  • Great stuff

  • Just awesome, it's touching.
