Green day today is pop with rock in it! Why do european radiostations always play them? I thought they were kind of okay, when they released "American Idiot", but after every single was played by radiostations (except for the AI Single), i started to dislike them, and today I'm very annoyed by them, Billy can't sing, Green Day destroy the credibility of good music by saying they're "punk". They're just "junk"!

I think the simple fact of the matter is this: You can generally determine someone's personality and character by their musical taste; but you're still not better. They're just different. Yes, people who listen to certain bands are most likely in a certain clique, but there are no cliques that are, "better" than others. Only more popular or common.

You're 99% right, yourself: I don't think Green Day is "emo." (And by the way, I am not that big of a fan.) They are punk, yes.

For instance, I have three Green Day albums, and American Idiot is the only one I listen to. Of course, this comment may spark some responses and corrupt your video, so I'll apologize ahead of time for that but I just wanted to say this.

On the other hand, I could be wrong. I say this because again, I don't know that much about Green Day. The other two: no thanks.
