To continue: We see not your hearts but flesh. Know ye this and be faithful until the end. For Satan has no value. but know! That our time is up! Satan comes and goes like an unfaithful fruit. Truth has no power here! Only O ye God who hast cast this serpent upon us!
O saints, can't you see that your world is ours now. Many shall perish but shall be granted eternal life to serve our God... Those who sought rightousness have found themselves a lie. A lie, a true lie, is that in wich you serve! Who will free you now saints? Only God can set you free? The truth is coming and many know, fear not the truth, fear God.
The lyrics, with no lyrics only insight! The music led me to these lyrics!
you know...Shakespeare never really was specific about the time this story was based around in...for all we know, he could've made it in the future. who knows?
@Strifedragondude the fuck? I see where you're going but I don't think Shakespeare had any concept of the future. However he did write in a fashion that is timeless and can be translated over and over again to fit the context of the latest epoch.
@ValiumandDolls Well it's ture, he never specified any spesific time period lol. And I'm not saying that he had any concept of the future(though he may have, who knows?) I'm just saying it could be used for a more futuristic period, just as well as you could use it with a bunch o neaderthals(sp?)
@XxXStaypuffXxX wtf this wasn't a parody it was just donw in modern day times and gets more people interested for instance fellas would wacth this becasue of guns and crap so see it form rating point of view this was not a parody did you not see all the pain and movement in this film get your head checked is wan't a PARODY!!!!
Although i thought it was kinda odd for this movie too be in modern day times. I still think it was DAMN good epic. Just the fact it was in modern times was the part that didnt mix well with me. But still. Imma just like "fuck it," So a 5/5. What they made up in with the modernized version they made up with good music and acting.
from 3:05 - the end it reminds me of someone being thrown in jail and then being electricuted or somethin and that high pitch bird sound is their screams. Hope i didnt scare anyone. XD
Its a good song...but why did the producer have to put the sounds of cars screaching, and bullets being fired? It ruins the song. The song should have not had the added sounds in the backround. Is there a version of it without them?

jpa2blue 2 years ago
Well...there's 'O Verona' which sounds almost exactly like it, sans bullets and all, if that helps. :)
Fisher194 2 years ago
@jpa2blue it is pretty much what is happening in the scene. Romeo is on the run from the police and gets into a small shootout with them.
