@BadSeed13 well, team Lambsy made this video when the toy had only just come out and Robot Wars was at its peak (the middle to back end of series 6), and who cares if they can go for over £25 on ebay? if you own it you can do what you want with it, after all, they were built to be played with, sure, I liked to keep mine in good condition when I played with them, but I always did my best to look after them, now they are all safe in my bedroom.

Damn, I'd love to be able to turn the pullbacks into motorised vehicles. I'm amazed even the flipper could lift and toss Tornado, the RC Matilda flipper's not very powerful.

It is not stop motion. Its an antweight robot. Look at the very last shot and you can see a servo arm pushing the flipper up.

these look like *UK* antweight robots

(US antweights are 1lb) They are 150g and must fit in a 4" cube. You have to build them just like any other combat bot. Just google it....

It's stop motion: Watch when the flipper goes down, a component under the flipping arm goes down a half-second before it.

EatYourBeans, it is NOT stop motion. That is Antomkia (not a misprint), it belongs to Scott Lockhart, the guy who also drove Lambsey and Ewe 2 in Robot Wars. The flipper is pushed up by an arm on a servo, and the arm is a little sticky sometimes, hence it didn't come down when the arm did. I can assire you its real, I had a play fight against it at Whitick this year

I beleive it uses modified RC servos; changed so they run 360 degrees rather than, say, 90 degrees like a standard servo does. That, I beleive, uses a Naro HP/BB servo for a drive motor
