Its a great app, however, well, its an app. To make it anything near useful you will have to integrate it into iOS like Siri otherwise its just not practical to open the app every time you want to use it. Wow, I'm impressed. It would be nice if it was integrated more so I could make calls, send texts, and play music. Android's built in feature works, but it still seems rough.

I got this onto my Android today and have been trying it out, it's not bad at all, in fact it's very good considering the much more reasonable price for an Android than you pay for an iphone which I think is a bit steep, you're looking at a minimum £399 for an iphone but you can get a really good android for under £100, much more reasonable, Evi is crashing a lot at the moment but I'm confident that this will be ironed out and that it will be much better soon, hats off to android for this :).
It's coming along very well! Before you would get a error message but now you can tell that they are working hard to fix this issue! It's a must have! :)

That said, mistaking a location for London to Illinois is far from good. It would be good to have more info so we can dig to the bottom of why that is and what device you're using. I would be much appreciated if you were to raise a ticket to help us fix that.

It's very unprofessional to have your servers overloaded right after you release the app. I paid $0.99 but I'm really annoyed that it still has yet to answer a single question without a server error
@spinnygame No plans to. We didn't want to have the iPhone version paid, but we needed to cover costs for the speech translation service, Nuance. Android has it's own voice system and so we're able to offer the app free for Android users.
Does this work on the iPhone 3g? Many Nuance apps don't work and it'd be great if us outdated users got some cool voice functionality too. Thanks and looking forward to your response!
@MrRendezvous101 Yes it does. I can attest to this via my own much loved 3g which, although slowly dying a death, still ran Evi perfectly. Of course, it may be best to wait until the server issue is resolved. ;)
it has HORRIBLE reviews by iOS users, don't get it until they can fix it and really make it work like SIRI or wait until CRAPple allows non-4s users to get SIRI in a OS update
Makes me wonder if Apple will step up and make siri better. I asked siri, and It didn't know any recipes for chocolate cake, it asked me to do a web search....
@EviKnows I have faith in your app it looks exceptional and it is (from the few results i have actually recieved) very accurate for the UK but please tell us the estimated time of repair for the servers once you do this app will be getting an immediate 5* rating on itunes and a reccomendation to all my friends cause I know it will be the next big thing

A nice idea, but it doesn't work. The answer to every question is this: "I'm having trouble getting a response from my servers. You might want to try again in a minute." You might want to try again after a new release. Or not.

@EviKnows seems like the servers are getting overloaded, testing out on iphone 4 running ios 5.0.1 on AT&T, but keep getting the message ' trouble getting response from my servers'.

It's working for me. :) Only problem is that there's no sound. I tried pressing the sound button in the UI and nothing changes.

it has HORRIBLE reviews by iOS users, don't get it until they can fix it and really make it work like SIRI or wait until CRAPple allows non-4s users to get SIRI in a OS update

@EviKnows I have faith in your app it looks exceptional and it is (from the few results i have actually recieved) very accurate for the UK but please tell us the estimated time of repair for the servers once you do this app will be getting an immediate 5* rating on itunes and a reccomendation to all my friends cause I know it will be the next big thing

@xXMARCUS4LIFEXx Yes it will. It's not optimised for iPad, but I'm an iPad 2 user myself and used it extensively when testing the app before launch and Evi works just fine. When the server is behaving itself. :)

A nice idea, but it doesn't work. The answer to every question is this: "I'm having trouble getting a response from my servers. You might want to try again in a minute." You might want to try again after a new release. Or not.

Looks pretty cool. I am however a little worried that the strain on your servers will prevent me from using it (her?). I think I'll hold off on buying at the moment solely for that reason. Any ETA on when you'll have more servers available to handle demand?

I think 9to5 Mac and Mac Rumours have caused poor Evi to overload... Can't et any answers at the moment.
