@Thedutch91...there is an element of dance in cheerleading but in a 2 min. and 30 second routine dance accounts for about 45 seconds. The rest is stunts and tumbling. Look on Youtube for All-star cheerleading. Also, they have distinctly different motions in the dance portion. Like the difference between jazz dancing and tap dancing. There is also a big difference between side line cheerleaders and all-star cheerleaders. All-star cheerleading is the sport and they actually don't cheer at all....
