@DestinyQx There is actually a public holiday next week called "kinro kansha no hi" which I just realised is sort of like Thanksgiving in English "Labour Thanksgiving Day" But just like most other holidays, it now just means sleeping, shopping and Starbucks! So no US style Thanksgiving. Families come together in August for Obon, New Year and sometimes Golden Ween in May.
Not American and don't 'do' thanksgiving, but I can't thank you enough for all these videos. :) One question though, I've seen 10 romanized as 'ku', 'kyu' and 'kyuu'. Are they all correct? Thanks. :D
@tomtucjr Thank you! I think you may be thinking of "9" which can be sounded as ku or kyuu, and sometimes the "kyuu" can be written as "kyu" depending on which romaji you use. It's a great example of how easy kanji can be (!) is as it's always 九 !!
