I dont get the purpose of these gay and lesbian parades. Just coz ur gay or lesbiand dasnt mean u should go and parade on the street. I mean straight ppl dont parade showing they are straight. What are use trying 2 acheive with this? Is this an advertising trying 2 make more ppl gay so use have more options to choose? Why is it that gays and lesbians are all about having sex? Now do you see my point in why ppl dont support gays and lesbians.

@mir0slav1 the pride parade is a means of telling the community that gay people exist. it is also a celebration of the struggles and victories that gay people have overcome and won over the years. When you say that "straight ppl dont parade showing they are straight" you are correct that there is no parade. but in everyday life straight people are seen everywhere with their opposite sex partners and children on the media, news. if gay people do the same thing, then they are met with homophobia.
