It really irks me the way they allowed AJ to progress and mature and then they just yanked all that away to make Jason look like the hero. They could have had so much potential with AJ and they just squandered it.

When you look at what Alan has had to endure since 1994, you have to wonder why he didn't go off the deep end sooner. Monica's breast cancer, Monica pushing him away, Jason's accident, Monica's affair with Dorman, the closing of GH, Monica's sexual harrassment suit, Emily's drug addiction and overdose, AJ confessing to causing Jason's accident, pain in his hand, the realization that he rehurt his hand punching Dorman, thinking that Monica killed Dorman, Jason not letting them see Michael. YIKES

Stuart definitely knows how to act "fuzzy."

His portrayal of Alan's slow descent into addiction, guilt and despair is so hard to watch. Although, when he tells Monica that he doesn't deserve her, I'm like WHAT?!...Alan stood by Monica during her breast cancer and her horrid affair with Dorman...Alan should be canonized a saint for that one.

Monica owes Alan big time for all the times he supported her and the Dorman affair helped drive Alan to the drug abuse as well. Gotta laugh though when Monica says "I will stay with you day and night"....ooops...it's my beeper...it's the hospital...gotta go!

Alan's alone again...poor Alan.

yeah, Stuart acts stoned really well. Just watch how slow he moves. And yes, this is depressing and hard to watch which is probably one of the reasons it's taking me so long to make this clips up and upload them.

Hehe..I didn't even notice that bit about staying with him and then rushing off to the hospital LOL Poor Alan.

LOL: Though Alan IS a loving and supportive husband, he's hardly a candidate for sainthood!

Monica has forgiven HIM for multiple affairs, rape, two murder attempts, an ACTUAL murder (though accidental), professional sabotage, family disruption, violent tantrums AND drug abuse.
