The freaking SWORD was only invented by some asshole who wanted to cheat the good ole' natural laws of "throw punches and rocks at each other", and was lazy. So then when everyone started to have swords the gun was invented. Same with the bomb, same with the atom bomb, same with today's computer BS.

We do need weapons, ONLY because our enemies have weapons. If our enemies didn't have weapons, we wouldn't need them. Our enemies have weapons, so we DO need weapons. Look at the great, peaceful culture of the Tibetans...the red army got GUNS dammit, and they are evil as all hell, the Tibetans were great people but, logically, TOO peaceful. I think that protest songs don't work by the leaders listening to them and changing their ways. After all, you can't reason with psychopaths. How they can work is by informing and inspiring people to stand up to injustice. It is a tragedy to humanity that nuclear bombs have ever been used like Hiroshima etc. However, to avoid hypocrisy any nuclear power (America, Britain, France, Israel, etc) wanting to prevent other countries from building nuclear weapons should disarm their own nukes first.
