  • i liked this video i am doing a science project about this and it is very helpful .

  • I did this it made a loud freighting noise

  • BAKING SODA and vinegar work well if you want to try at home. Search youtube for "density of CO2 demonstration for chemwest"

to see how to do this.

  • Like POP

  • would bicarb and vinegar make enough carbondioxide to do this? I did try with a single ply tiny piece of tissue paper and that didnt seem to work. plz reply.

  • you can get dry ice from a grocery store?? Oo

  • @Epicalmarshmallow The video makes it sound like dry ice is an item commonly available at all grocery stores but I just googled my local area and it is only available from specialists.

  • @Epicalmarshmallow Both of the large grocery stores in my town have dry ice for sale, I was surtprised.

  • "like POPPP!!!!"

  • Proves global warming wrong. Everybody says that co2 will rise and heat the earth? Ha, my ass! CO2 is HEAVIER than O2, there fore feeds the plants for photosynthesis.

  • @goober239 CO2 will dilute through 02 due to environmental factors such as wind, no one ever said it just floats on top. The CO2 doesn't have to be a high up to cause global warming, it just has to be present somewhere in the atmosphere, regardless of height. Also, carbon dioxide isn't the main contributor to the enhanced greenhouse effect and thus global warming. get the facts before you post stuff like this.

  • @sydneybeach95 Fact is, the politicians blame CO2 97% of the time. Still doesn't make me want to sell my gas guzzling trucks for it.

  • WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK WOK

  • Now do it by using helium to blow into the bubbles.

  • like.. POP haaha

  • Hey, You should statically charge those bubbles (static electricity), Maybe shoot an Ion beam at the bubbles (electric wind)? If You can charge the bubbles the same polarity as the wok, then maybe the bubbles would stay in the center because they would be repulsed by the same charge that the other has (Negative).

  • Wow, floating "miracle" bubbles. Next we'll have careening bubbles and gliding bubbles and blimp like bubbles. Wow all the things I thought bubbles already did, silly me. They should call it majikal dry ice too because obviously theirs is some kemistry going on between the bubbles and the dry ice. gofigure!

  • I don't know it a toss between this and paint drying. I did try watching grass grow once, after planting the seeds myself, it was pretty amazing.

  • that cool

  • When he said dry ice is denser than water, he ment that at the molecular level the dry ices molecules spread further apart than that of water?

  • @7rancisco1 No I think it is the other way around: denser things have molecules that are more crowded together

  • If I recall correctly the white smoke coming off the dry ice is water vapor. It's a common misconception to think that it's liquified or gaseous carbon dioxide. (just to any of you wondering)

  • ahaha dude you sound like ned flanders

  • lol ya he does :P

  • you dont need dry ice you can use baking soda and viniger which creates carbon dioxide but the better reason is DRY ICE IS COOL so yea

  • Just for that last "POP" you got 2**

  • float your girlfriend on it....

she's an airhead and should float.....lol

  • haha thats pretty good! lol

  • At first, I thought they are going to mix the bubble solution with the dry ice directly- i was kinda expecting some CO2smoke-filled column of bubbles which is kinda cool. Too bad dry ice's not available in our area :(

  • hey this was uploaded on my BDAY!!!!

  • @Patriotsfan346 3 days after mine... lolz

  • if you were to have a bigger 'wok' and more dry ice, what would happen if you created the buble midsection between the air and carbon doixicde? you would have to create the bubble without blowing on it but its possible right.

  • That woks!

  • LIKE POP!!!

    lol

  • that's true . but wtf kind of grocery store sells dry ice xD and I'm having some problem thinking of how u can hold dry ice and not get burned ..... dude co2 turns into ice at about 100 and something degrees below zero if u touch it it instantly burns ur skin ....cuz it's too damn cold xD ....

  • like paoop!!!!!

  • They probably float because the carbon dioxide is turning into gas while its sitting there in the bowl. The vapor density of the carbon dioxide probably weighs more than the bubbles which causes the bubbles to float instead of sink

  • Indeed

  • Aside from having the words used in the completely wrong context, you have grasped the idea, i think.

  • lol hes good at "blowing" bubbles

  • Hear about the Chinaman who wokked his dog xD

  • that happenend to my aunt to

  • you should try poring a soapy water or bubble soap in to the dry ice.. as the ice melts and heats up it will blow its own bubbles and fill them with a fog or smoke looking air.

  • you touched it! what the h*** it's too much cold

  • Actually if you DO NOT hold it still but you juggle it very quickly you will not get frostbitten

  • i did an expirement in class where you pour bubble soap over the dry ice and it traps the gass. IT LOOKS AWESOME!!

  • keep clicking at 1:50, funny!!

  • @djfrogfm your about that part

  • @djfrogfm Absolutely :D

  • @djfrogfm I did that for about 5 mins straight.. that was more intertaining than the actual video.

  • not really lighter than air, just lighter than co2 :P

  • IVE SO GOT TO TRY THT OUT

  • THE LAST "POP" WAS AWSOMELY HILARIOUS

  • yeah if ur 5....

  • Comment removed

  • OH MY FUCKING GOD

that right there is the proof that your nothing better then a 5 year old kid in your own concept, you idiot...

  • WTF?

  • Put some liquid on the side to stop the bubbles from popping... i did this and tried tape, and some meijer brand of bubbles, and it worked, they never popped.. used it as a halloween thing

  • That's pretty cool.

  • pretty cool

  • kool?

    interesting?

    awsome?

    sexy?

    hum?

  • Yay for sublimation.

  • Try catch-a-bubble bubbles.

  • i was thinkin the same thing lol

  • like... POP!

  • DOG

  • sublmiation

  • COOL!!!

  • O.o i was told touching dry ice would freeze the liqued in your hand...but you touched it so i was wrong?

  • no, you were right. it was because he wasn't touching it long enough to burn, like tapping a hot pot.

  • trust me my friend had to get the skin on his butt moved to his arm cause of a dare to put and keep dry-ice on his arm for half an hour he got to 5 min and called 9-1-1

  • omg

  • I know thats what i said

  • It's kinda like if you hold a hot rock or charcoal; if you don't touch it for prolonged period of time you'll be ok, same thing with dry ice. if you hold it for a few seconds then just like with hot the cold will burn you.

  • POP!!!!!

  • none of you guys can spell and this is sad try doing something older like making complicated motors in college like i am right now...

  • if you were actually doing that you wouldn't be looking at retarded youtube videos and boasting about your college

  • try pouring soap into the sink and run water down

  • pour the hole bottle in that

  • or you can poor the bubbles in it it grows like crazy

  • That totally woks!

  • i did this in school!

  • Like POP!!

  • haha our teacher in school did somthing like that o.o

  • but... aren't the bubbles filled with carbon dioxide themselves? The air we exhale is CO2, so the air in the bubbles should be CO2 too. Doesn't that make them sink?

  • Yes, but not only carbon dioxide - they also include some lighter oxygen, nitrogen and water, so they still float.

  • true.

  • actually the composition of air doesnt really change much after its inhaled exhaled.

  • Very clever trick.

  • that's actually pretty cool!! i gave it 5 stars (i really like science)

  • lol at the end POP lol

  • No. They form a lighter-than-*carbon-dioxide*-bubble! If they were lighter than air, they would go straight to the ceiling, like balloons.

  • so it's like hollow balls floating on water?

  • so tight..

so fuggin wat if hes a nerd or geek.....

i still dont understand why being smart and using your head became the "un cool" thing to do...

everyone always hased to jump on the bandwagon....

  • being smart dosnt make u a geek, putin bubbles on carbon dioxide in ur spare time does

  • again your proving my point ....

when did becoming a geek or nerd be the "un cool" thing to do..???

  • well im not realy.. bein smart dosnt make u a geek is all im saying, making litle experements at home makes u uncool and a geek

  • i dont see anything wrong with doing something like this at home....

what the fugg does it matter really?

why do u need to be "Cool" at home...

    dude thats unbelievably stupid....

i done wit this i dont fill like arguing wit idiots on youtube...its stupid...

so go ahead and talk your shiz and try to beef wit ppl on youtube....but i would check yourself b 4 u go and talk shiz about others...

  • right.. ur wierd nd im not even joking, nd dont get upset cus YOU know ur a loser nd u got all defensive about being a dweeb sort ur self out

  • haha dawg u dont kno shit about me son....for all u kno im just a dude tryin to fight against negative remarks like yours....

u hav no clue who i am son...how old are u seriously....u sound like ur about 12

  • No, doing little experiments at home is where we get all our cool toys and many life altering discoveries, and these ppl become millionaires, I wouldn't mind being called a dweeb if I could become rich off of it, lol

  • hahahha sounds like a nerd/geek

     fukwit

  • cool

  • is it possible to make dry ice at all? and is it JUST frozen CO2?

  • If you get a can of compressed air, the kind people use for cleaning computers, and turn it upside down. The white crap that forms on the end of it is dry ice.

  • I don't suggest doing that. The burns they can cause can cause skin damage and hurt immensely.

  • I wasn't so much a suggestion, as a known and published way to do it.

  • They wouldn't pop on the side of the wok if you put soap on it.

  • try a small balloon

  • nice

  • why NO closed captioned in here video

  • Cool... can you buy dry ice in any grocery store in london?

  • practically.

  • the bubbles could be kept in the middle if you arrange the dry-ice around the outside of the wok, leaving a crater in the centre. The current set-up is creating a central hillock as it sublimes.

  • says "Xbox360fana"...

  • Well. What u said makes alot of sence it wasn't ment in a bad way just saying the way u said that sounds nerdish. lol. i get what u said simple science so i guess i nerdy to bra.

  • Learn to spell, you're a moron.

  • was purpously moron. Hey look im PrimoVids, I speak perfectly because im trying to look like im professional LAWLLLLLLLCOPTERWAGON

  • Really, 'cause I doubt it. I speak perfectly because I need to for my profession, thanks.

  • POP! Hahah, cool :3

  • Could you do this with aero gel?

  • there not floating bcasue of the carbon dioxide its bcause there MIRICAL BUBBLES

  • lol

  • LOL, that is lame!

  • ur lame OOHH YA I WENT THERE XD

  • lol

  • Comment removed

  • miralce bubbles!

  • lol I love the end.. POP!!

  • wow that cool!

  • where can you get the dry ice? im german, so i dont really understand=)

  • Check for trockeneis

  • put the bubble soap in the container with the dry ice and the ice should start melting into gas and making its own bubbles!

  • science.....just science

  • That should also work with balloons or other things that may contain air and is lightweight?

  • where is closed captioned in this video

  • make a yellow snowcone

  • Why don't the bubbles freeze?

  • If the water molecules in the bubbles froze and formed crystals they would pop themselves basically

  • since when do grocery stores sell dry ice

  • Many sell it for parties and such

  • They are sold in Britian.

  • I bet he was like "Bitch shut the fuck up I'm making this video!"

  • lmfao yeh he doesnt even respond to her cause hes busy slapping his forehead

  • that look like crack son!!

  • what happens if you pour the miracle bubble soad in the dry ice?

  • put in in a half full water bottle and close the lid

  • i love the exploratorium. POP

  • I bought my dry ice at Save mart

  • what groceri stor you shop at ?!?!!?

  • slso works with foil boats.. : P

  • lol POP!!

  • POP

  • HAHAHA POP!

  • LOL POP!!

  • like POP!!!! lmao!

  • they dont float because of the dry ice they float because they are MIRACLE BUBBLES!

  • lol

  • haha you are right! lol

  • makes me laugh everytime... POP!!! XD

    can't help it...

  • fucken PWNED the bubbles, POP!!!!

  • what store did you go to to get bubbles AND dry ice?

  • genuardis

  • what store did you go to to get bubbles AND dry ice?

  • thats cool.......!!!!!!!!!!!!
