I don't care what critics say. Xanadu is a great film that gives you a warm feeling of joy and love of life. It feels like being a child again. It makes me feel like the good old Gene Kelly on skates.

Holy shit! Olivia Newton-John in Xanadu!! I just had a heart attack only to see this beautiful blonde !!!!!! I went back to my teenage years and almost went to the bathroom ..;-) It was crazy about her!
I'll ALWAYS love this movie and its music. My late son, Patrick was only 3 years old when we took the family to see the movie in Payson, UT and immediately bought the soundtrack album on the way home. For weeks afterward, he would lay on the floor gazing at the many pictures of Olivia Newton-John for hours on end. He was in LOVE!!! He passed away in May of 2006, leaving me three beautiful grandsons and another on the way. All four have a lot of their dad in them. Great memories!!

Some years ago there was suppose to be a night club in Las Vegas named Xanadu but for some odd reason the blue prints never got off the drawing board.
This is my #1 favorite movie of all time and I just LOVE it to pieces!! Saw it 3 times at the movie theater when it came out in 1980 and I also got it record on VHS and one night I saw it 10 times in a row, because I LOVE it so much!! I have the soundtrack and have seen her in concert once and she sang this song and I almost DIED!!!!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!

I was 11 when I saw this at the movie in 1980. I already had a huge crush on Olivia from Grease, and this just blew me away--I miss those days so much. I still have the double album soundtrack (yes, the vinyl stuff) --still one of the best movie soundtracks ever.

Wow - not remastered at all - the chroma is way, WAY too high and blown out.
This movie looks pretty wonderful when occasionally shown in HD on HBO and/or Cinemax; pity Universal hasn't yet released it on Blu-ray.

On December 24 at 8:00 in the morning, a young 14 year old boy by the name of Scott Johnson was found dead. Doctors couldn’t come up with the cause of his death. His mother checked his emails to see if she could figure out what happened. Turns out he was still signed in to MySpace. She found he had gone to sleep after he read and didn’t repost a chain letter. If you don’t repost this to six videos a women with no face will kill you tonight. (I know this is stupid, sorry)

@SocratesTheGadfly If Wall St. and large corps. won't invest their money in the USA (Communist China is getting it all and they have passed us up) then they should get taxed and get their tax breaks taken away and the government can pass it around and keep our economy going instead of building up Communist China. If something isn't done to keep money going around in our economy we will soon become a third world country. Of course if you have tons of money, you probably don't care.

This is my #1 favorite movie of all time and I just LOVE it to pieces!! Saw it 3 times at the movie theater when it came out in 1980 and I also got it record on VHS and one night I saw it 10 times in a row, because I LOVE it so much!! I have the soundtrack and have seen her in concert once and she sang this song and I almost DIED!!!!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!

When I was fifteen, I walked into this movie and walked out a changed person. XANADU saved my life. Such an absolutely beautiful and magnificent ending to the best movie ever -- I could watch that finale a million more times than I probably already have! Thanks for posting!

I was 11 when I saw this at the movie in 1980. I already had a huge crush on Olivia from Grease, and this just blew me away--I miss those days so much. I still have the double album soundtrack (yes, the vinyl stuff) --still one of the best movie soundtracks ever.
