  • I have two of these feeding two 15k L tanks. They don't cope with torrential QLD rain. The plastic leaf screens break down from UV radiation and the mosquito screen needs frequent cleaning.

  • Is the water going thru a screen before it hits the ball? Will keep out pine needles, bits of leaves? Pollen fireplace soot roofing grit? I'm working on a similar problem only planning a first fill into a polytank.

  • Great device and simple I want one now

  • @javaxqft

    have you proven it doesn't?

    were is your video?

  • Very nice, looking to start a garden this spring comin. Where can i get one of these from ? Please let me know, thanks. :0)

  • Ridiculous!

  • @javaxsqft What is ridiculous is that people treat simple proven ideas with contempt without considering trying it out. I use a very similar system at home and it works perfectly.

  • The only contempt I have is for you for being stupid enough to believe that this "works".

  • Nice! Great idea, nothing complicated about it, that's why it's so good!

  • Thanks for the post. That's a great idea and I want one now.

  • That is very cool!!! PEACE

  • Great job of see through first flush system. Love using rainwater, much nicer to bathe in and takes a load off the mains water demand, especially in arid areas. Here in the UK we get pleanty of rainfall, but even so we have experienced prolonged dry weather at times.
