I've been playin centre for 4 years , and yes, but you never wanna tackle someone when your trying to block them, as long as the play is still going you can hit and block whoever stands in front of you, just not from behind or anything. you should kno the basic rules by now. Just remember, you dont stop until the whistle blows, just keep truckin people.

Center is by far the hardest position to play in football and maybe all of sports...especially when you get to the college level and Nose tackles just tee off on you as soon as you move the ball...very challenging
