Rustins do a couple of outdoor finishes that still allow the wood to breathe but are flexible enough to move with the wood. Yes all the big stuff I cut is green..
I have to ask, are those large solid trunk benches still green (wet) when sawing? If so, are the cracks manageable? And what type of finish do you use on those outdoor benches? I find it difficult to find a proper UV blocking finish that still is somewhat flexible (cause of green wood's shrinking/expanding)
