  • Thanks, this has been very useful!

  • i love how everyone with tutorials has the same deck of cards

  • I get blisters on my right hand ringfinger, is this normal or am I using shitty cards?

  • do u have more than 52 cards?

  • You actually sound like The Joker from Batman (Heath Ledger not Jack Nicholson). Weird coincidence.

  • riffle = 52 card pickup

  • dude thankyou , you are the best !!! :D thumbs up if you agree :D

  • I'm trying this with yugioh card XD (thumbs up if u tried too)

  • @pokebloxxer12 hope u used crappy commons:( ive tried (AND FAILED) hundreds of times,

  • Hey. brilliant video, i subbed! Just one quick question, i can do it all fine apart from the wing bit at the end, im pretty sure im bending them over enough just they dont all float into hands like they do in the video:/ am i letting to many go at once or something? Thanks!<3

  • Great tutorial :D

  • Hey I done it, trying this all day and watched loads of tuts, couldn't do it, watched this once and done it first time haha

  • Thanks for this, it is really helpful. I particularly liked the part on how to hold your hands!

I just have a quick question, if that is alright. I have a hard time smoothly riffling off cards. It either becomes jerky or I let too many cards go at once. Are there any tips you can offer, or is it just a case of practising? Thanks!

  • @calcifer1234 That is caused by either arcing the deck too much or too little. It's really just a case of practice to find the perfect balance

  • Just cards?! I make my money of these!

  • Thanks a lot for this, you explained it a lot better than any other person so far, now it just comes down to practice :) thanks again

  • Will casino cards work?

  • @aaronid23 Yep

  • I understand the concept but i'm terrible at the riffling part and when i try to do the bridge i lose half of the deck..usually on the floor :( Any tips? cheers

p.s i'm using standard Bicycle cards

  • uh guys, id like to know if his cards are a kinda bigger than my cards, mine are black ghosts, and they dont do the bridge that nice, i think its because its kinda small actually, so anyone can help me out ?

  • I wondered how smoothy and well you do that! :) Thanks for this tutorial!!!

  • Thank you for the tutorial! I learned it! ")

  • Hey dude, dunno if you are still active ... but what happens with me is, I'm not affraid to bend the cards, but when I wanna riffle off half the pack, it's not really riffling. About 1/3 of the pack just seperates, after which some cards riffle ontop of them and thats about it. Looks really fail :P

  • @AKARazorback Maybe my cards are too stiff?

  • Great tutorial, the best on youtube I think. Need to watch more videos from you! *Subscribed*

  • lol svangeli cards im getting those soon same one from amazon

  • You are really talented! The shuffeling was awesome. Thanks so much I really needed it!

  • in new zealand i have to pay $9 for one pack :\ it sucks cause my mum wont let me buy heaps so yeah :(

  • haha, the cards cost $2 only if you live in the US. in australia, we have to pay anything up to $15 (nearly $20 for ellusionist decks) :(

  • Great vid, check out mine and give me some feedback:)

  • good shit man nice explain

  • Good explanation!

  • my cards are... not very bendy... mine are like really hard. Or maybe I'm weak, but i cant get past the part atfer you get the card in half.

  • wow......u taught it so good!!!

    it helped ma alot!!!!

  • thanks soooo much i do lots of magic but i didnt do very well with the riffle shuffle and ur tutorial help me alot thz soooo much

  • Thanks for the tutorial.

Is the cascade for anything other than visual importance? I don't see how it helps shuffle the cards any better.

  • It's just faster to do the cascade than to push the two halves together. Cuz if you want to do a trick effectively, you dont want to have a fast pace or else your audience will lose interest. So you dont wanna risk breaking your pace by stopping to push the two halves together.

  • @MagicShadow9 hate to be a spelling nazi(?) but you said "no fast pace" and "no breaks" sorry, hate when this happens, but I just couldn't leave it

  • @aknipe106 Haha i'm kind of a grammar nazi myself, so thanks for pointing that out. I'm usually not very attentive when commenting on youtube. I assure you i dont make too many grammar mistakes when it counts

  • @MagicShadow9 thanks for the video by the way, mastered this thanks to you

  • If you purchase some plastic playing cards, KEM are the best I think, for around $20 they will not keep their original shape perfectly, you have to fold them in half to bend them :D

  • This is a bit tedious. You could have cut out the entire pivot thing to get the half of the deck. I'd just say "So grab half the deck in one hand and have the other half in the other hand,"

  • No but when you say "grab half the deck" most people wont know how. This cuz you have you'd have to rearrange the left hand packet into biddle grip. You dont know wierd some people's shuffels look. Some people have lean a packet against their bodies, put it on the table, one guy even put a packet on his head so i he could reposition the 2nd packet. This is just a more effective way to get into the right position without any useless fiddling.

  • Good point. :)

  • my cards dont riffle in a smooth action...

  • tytytytytytyty

  • thx dude i love magic and i needed to learn that

  • Comment removed

  • just practice and ull get better

  • Thanks, I need it. nice!

    Keep It Up !!

    Have a nice day !
