Annotations on YT videos are kinda like ani-gifs back in the early days of personal web pages: a potentially nice addition, but typically overused and annoying. I always shut them off.

I wish there was a 'call' function. i.e. where in my viewer clicks on an annotation gets to another video, plays that video at certain parts, and then comes back to my video. This would really be great.

@g1cast place a link annotation on your video with a link to the other video, at the other video, place a pause annotation at the desired place, together with a link annotation to link back to your video, or evenly to skip a certain part of that other video. It's all possible.

@TehGIGAgamer Thanks I just did that in my december 2011 calendar.  Added anotation to 31 other videos to click and go back to the main video. The only problem is if the viewer missed hitting the 'go back' button, viewer is lost. It is like the 'Go to' instruction of basic programming. I'm hoping for a 'Call' function of 'perform-and-come-back type'. like 'play that other video and comeback here after few seconds'. guess not possible at the moment.

You can add annotations by going to your video, then "edit video", then click the "annotations" tab. It`s a little more organized than the one shown here
