If i paid to see this show i'd be asking for my money back. Owens can sing but not JLT stuff. Ripper can't sing in this range, he's straining and it makes me cringe. I feel bad that he needs the money and yngwie needs a body to man the mic.

If only Yngwie and JLT could just get along.... why do us fans have to suffer through shows like this?

ripper is not a good choice. it sounds bad, but i guess nobody wants to sing with yngwie anymore because he treat them bad. and malmsteens behavior is to much and ....a little bit silly. i love malmsteens old stuff but since 8-9 years , its not the same anymore. good guy, great older songs but...

The thing that is unique about Owens voice is he has alot of vibrato to his voice and rarely holds a note without the vibrato which derives from his metal background in priest, he is one hell of a singer i saw malmsteen live in 2008 and they all were amazing especially malmsteen.

Owens' voice is really good in the beginning, it's just his style to get kinda gruff with his voice... just his style. I assure you, if you really knew how hard it was to sing that song you may have been a little more forgiving with your comments. Not everyone is Joe. Joe made this song freaking magical, so anyone else singing it....it's gonna be a letdown from the original. Good job overall Tim. Yngwie was perfect as usual. The man is simply a guitar god like no other to me. Peace.
