  • Steve Hunter and Dick Wagner did a lot of studio work during the 70's. Check out Alice Cooper - they were both on a lot of his albums.

  • I remember hearing the solo as a kid in the 70's & it had me playing air guitar for hours. I was lucky to have brothers into rock.

  • Steve Hunter and Dick Wagner are two of the greatest studio musicians ever, and deserve induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

  • This is the extraordinary and renowned Sweet Jane, recorded LIVE in NYC with the Rock N Roll Animals band: Dick Wagner and Steve Hunter on spectacular dual guitars... transcendant. This great band also featured Prakash John on bass, Whitey Pentti Glan on drums, Ray Colchord on keys... Recorded live at the Brooklyn Academy of Music 1973. It has been re-released several times since by the labels. But who are the guys in these photos? They are not the band that played this music.

  • its pictures of my band lol i want to hear more steve hunter but cant seem to find his stuff anywhere... any suggestions??

  • @Jcerillo70

Go on Facebook and ask him.

  • @Jcerillo70 : Steve had a few solo albums out in the late 70's covering '8 Miles High', 'Sail On Sailor' and other songs. Best as a studio musician as that's where Hunter's talents really appear to me!

  • I saw THIS! It changed my entire outlook on music, my life, my collegiate studies . . . IT CHANGED ME FOREVER. . .LOU REED IS KING!

  • @susanmichelson Susan: I love this song! I was in the audience the night of the performance. But wait! it was the Acadmey of Music on 14th Street. Howard Stein was the producer of many shows throughout the 70's.

  • As the video title says: The Best Intro Ever! I remember buying a vinyl copy of Transformer and playing this for hours.........! It covers the whole spectrum of solo guitar playing at its very best! Simply Superb!!
